Beautiful hotel and garden, with amazing gastronomic and fine dining restaurants. Voituriers, bar, garden and concierge service were providing exceptional service. Christophe Hay restaurant was very sophisticated. Breakfast at L'Amour Blanc was the best ever. Great to have a swimming and spa to relax at the end of the day.

Maybe because of the pic season of our stay, the housekeeping team was overwhelmed, and was not able to do the full room refreshing (also with our dog in the room, the cleaning schedules were messed-up). A little more relaxed attitude of some of the staff, could make the hitel spirit less "formal". Not easy to find the right fine tunning.

Location: in the city center, easily accessible by car, explored the Loire Valley and the castles by car, drive time to Tours, Orleans, and most castles is under 1 hour. Friendliness: very polite and accommodating. Restaurant: breakfast buffet and Amour blanc restaurant are excellent, Christophe Hay restaurant is exceptionally good, rightly has 2 stars. I would definitely return to this hotel on my next visit.

Gym: Good bike, otherwise somewhat sparsely equipped, but this was not important for the selection of the hotel.

a lovely serene hotel with extraordinary staff. Always friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, the amenities were high end, spacious and that soaking tub was just magnificent. The Patisserie Kiosk was a lovely quick snack spot with the most amazing pastries--you haven't HAD a croissant if you haven't had one from that kiosk!!! The best I ever had. Would stay again--many times!

my only 'complaint' is the lack of wash cloths but I'm sure if i had asked, they would have given me one.

The Fleur de Loire is a truly amazing 5-star hotel located on the banks of the river with a beautiful view of the historic city of Blois. The entire hotel is well maintained and you will not miss any amenity in the hotel room. While the breakfast was fresh but a bit limited for our tastes, the hotel's restaurants are highly recommended. Both are an event in themselves. In addition, the hotel's spa is a very cozy place, with a large indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and hammam, as well as many beauty treatments. It is conveniently located for trips to nearby castles if you drive, and is popular with cyclists who take a tour along the Loire.

Location great, on the Loire river bank, against Blois and walking distance from the town centre. Room was good in terms of space and amenities, if a bit "generic" in terms of ambience. Sleep comfort was ok. Very happy with the staff, all polite and attentive to our needs. Hotel amenities lived up to expectations, but nothing great. Breakfast very good, served on a terrace with fantastic view across the river to Blois. Overall, probably the best hotel in the Loire Valley and excellent value for money. Hence our 9/10 rating.

Main shortcoming was bed comfort: synthetic foam, thick pillows are not really appropriate for 5* accommodation. On our request, it was possible to furnish only one feather-filled pillow!

The hotel was up to the highest standards regarding service! The room was spectaculous and especially I appriciated the valet parking inside the hotels garage!

Had a small hickup with my deposit being used to cover the room service charge, as the receptionis wanted to make and extra charge and not use the witheld deposit for the payment, but as I declined of conducting in this matter the issue was essentionally resolved so no harm done :)

The location was perfect. The staff are attentive and helpful.

The duplex room was not well thought out. The upstairs had a bathtub only with no shower. There should have been both. There was no toilet upstairs which is a terrible oversight. Having to go downstairs in the middle of the night was a big minus. The coffee machine malfunctioned and more upscale and better coffee should be standard for this kind of hotel. This is the most expensive room offered and was not worth the price. The TV programming should include English stations .

Great hotel on the river across from the town of Blois. The room was very comfortable and the spa was wonderful. We ate in the Amour Blanc restaurant and the food was delicious. The gym was good for cardio but could have done with some free weights.

Asked for the hotel to do a couple of loads of laundry. It was our mistake not to ask the cost but also, this was not volunteered by the hotel. 200 Euros for the laundry was staggeringly expensive. It was good value for money given the quality of the hotel until we got the bill for the laundry.

Loved the breakfast, loved the outdoor bar area, our room and the bathroom were clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome and so was the king sized bed.

The outdoor pool was too cold and not very big. Our room was right above the outdoor bar area and was a little noisy one night when we were trying to go to sleep.
