The breakfast was very good, continental with homemade breads, cakes and jams. Delicious yoghurt and apple puree with cereal. The dinner we had was also homecooked and excellent. We arrived quite late the first night and the host booked us in to a lovely restaurant in the next door village. The countryside was very pretty with a nice view while eating breakfast . The host was kind and helpful. The rooms are beautifully done and it was good to have a pool that was very clean and warm.

The only thing I would say it would be good to have some sort of fan in the ceiling or the just a fan of some sort as the room was very hot.

We liked everything so much we returned a few days later. The rooms were beautiful, well equipped, the food was absolutely delicious and all home made. The pool and gardens were fabulous and so peaceful. The hosts were perfect. It's a little paradise. There's plenty of parking and the building is beautiful inside and out. It's so tranquil and quiet, a perfect place to relax unwind and eat fabulous food with great company.

Catarina and Eric are perfect hosts, very welcoming and helpful. The house is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. Breakfast is superb and if you choose to eat with the family its great food and wonderful value. Bella the labrador is so adorable we wanted to take her home!!! It was our 2nd visit and it certainly won't be our last. Merci beaucoup xx

Nothing...all fabulous

It is a very beautiful, tranquil position. Perfect for our drive back up through France. The swimming pool was glorious! Just what was needed. Beautiful buildings and terrace - small very cool room. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, excellent croissant, good coffee - exceptional yogurt and fruit. We slept very well.

I hadn't noticed when I booked a month, at least before, that it was essential to book for dinner in advance. We had driven several hundred miles, were in the middle of nowhere but weren't able to eat dinner as hadn't booked. It would be helpful if an email was sent just before the stay to remind guests that booking for eating is essential. Others that had booked through Booking.com had the same problem.

Everything was fantastic, peaceful quiet country location, hosts were fabulous. The food was amazing and all home cooked. The house is beautiful and finished to an extremely high standard. The pool was beautiful and the gardens were huge and we'll kept.

The accommodation is superb, a tasteful renovation of an ancient farmhouse. The hosts are welcoming and helpful and the continental breakfast is served with home-made jams. The outlook is across fields and woods and the location is idyllic - weather permitting, you can enjoy the views from the outside seating areas or the covered terrace. If our schedule permits, we will be back!

This is not a criticism, but visitors should be aware that the property is in a rural location. Travellers who want to stroll to the village cafe may be disappointed!

very clean and tidy

we arrived at , 3 an hour early . They never answered the door till 4 . We had driven through the night to get there from the North of England , over 600 miles . we were not expecting to get into room , but to use the facilities, swimming pool toilets would have been good.

Easily found, great welcome, comfortable room, beautifully appointed. Host very good and our meal was great too. We must try the recipe. We shall return and we thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The evening meal was great all sat at one long table and it was a friendly atmosphere with the other guests the hosts were attentive and chatted with everyone the swimming pool was very welcome after a long drive

Wonderful welcome. Lovely dinner prepared by our hosts from local produce. Likewise breakfast. All those staying were good company.
