The location was ideal for us as we arrived by train on Sunday afternoon from Frontignon Ville via Narbonne and left for the airport shuttle bus early the next morning from the bus stop outside the SNCF Railway Station, so only a short walk of 10-15 minutes with our luggage from the Hotel. The room had air conditioning which was lovely as the temperature outside was in the high 30's. a nice comfortable bed, everything was lovely and clean with shower gel & shampoo provided. We did not have breakfast as we were leaving on an early flight the next morning, tea & coffee making facilities were available in the room. The automatic main reception doors were locked at 9pm, so we were shown how to access the hotel using a keycode which unlocked another door just a couple of metres away from the main door. A nice place to stay overnight to complete our journey back home.

An older but lovely little hotel with character and very close to the train station. The front desk lady went above and beyond her duty. She stayed up late to let us in. The next day she helped us with several arrangements. She was very helpful and kind.

There was nothing we didn’t like but a caution for older or handicapped travellers - there is no elevator in the main building where we stayed. The stairs could be a challenge. I can’t comment on the annex building.

We were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is just a short walk from the station and a short walk to the city centre and to the castle. The room was warm ,spotless and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and user friendly. The continental breakfast was very satisfactory. Coffee making facilities were available in the room.

Given the coffee making facilities in the room a small bar fridge would have been a useful addition. A little more hanging space would also have been useful.

We loved the location close to the train station as we wanted to do a spot of travelling around the area. The hotel was clean and serviced daily , friendly gentleman who spoke a small amount of English and helped with maps etc. Our room had free Aircon which was a god send , a powerful shower and a very comfortable bed. We will definitely use again if we come back to Carcassonne.

This is a very clean and comfortable budget hotel in a good location. Walking to the "Cite de Carcassonne" was quite easy. We had a lovely continental breakfast on our first morning, which set us up for a big day of walking. If you are looking for a nice light dinner the Sushi restaurant down from the hotel was very good. The hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful, assisting us with our luggage on arrival and getting us off to an extremely early start. For an extra cost the hotel has secure off street parking, which we took advantage of.

There was nothing we didn't like about this stay.

It was a good local near the train station and canal. The location alone made it a good choice as it was also very near the city centre. When asked they immediately provided with an extra cover. It was a very secure building as you needed a code to enter. The room had tree stumps as bedside stands. With friendly staff and a comfortable bed this was a good place to stay.

Excellent location, close to the main train station and airport shuttle drop-off. 10 minute walk into the main square, 25 minutes to the medieval city. Very clean, comfortable, with excellent air-conditioning and nice touches such as tea/coffee making facilities and toiletries which you don't normally expect for a 2 star hotel. Breakfast very good value for the cost, we booked it when we arrived.

No door on shower room which didn't bother us but might bother some guests.

Nice small Hotel with a friendly old man. I would have loved to talk to him, but my French is a bit rusty. No luxury, but you get smiles from real people who live from where you are staying. Carcasonne is a neat little City with some nice Restaurants, a good fromagerie and next to it a good boulangerie. I had a great time.

I have no negative feelings concerning my visit to Carcasonne.

Basic room in good location 5 minutes walk from railway station, 8 minutes to square and 20 minutes to old city. Easy free parking very close. Small but decent room with all we needed.

Lack of drink options for the morning, no milk for tea or coffee provided, but the manager gave us cups of milk the night before to cover and keep cool on windowsill outside!!

Very nice breakfast with croissants, coffee, juice, yogurth etc. Several rooms are in an annex across the street, while the breakfast and the reception is in the main building. The location is amazing, close to the station, to the (modern) city center and in walking distance to the medieval center.

Indeed, the hosts are a bit grumpy, but in the cultivated way they do it, it is more a feature of the hotel than a drawback.
