The location was excellent and we could walk into both the new town and also up to the Mediaeval Cite. The owner was very helpful giving us a short introductory talk to Carcasonne with a map, to show us where some restaurants were, and places to visit etc. The breakfast was very good. Our bathroom was the largest we have ever had and there was a fridge in the room for our use. On-street parking was available outside the property or very close and it was safe and long stay.

Nothing, except maybe a kettle in our room with tea and coffee would be lovely, but we realise this is not often available in France. This did not detract from our stay.

Jean Paul and Annie were very welcoming, charming and informative hosts, who I suspect would try to help you if they could if asked. We loved the property and the rooms that were full of character. The room was clean and the continental breakfast plentiful and set us up for the day. The area was quiet and whilst non-descript, easily walkable to the La Bastide, La Cite, the canal and river paths, the railway station and the airport bus shuttle stop. We certainly recommend this charming B & B.

The location is excellent. It is close to the old and the medieval city. The hotel owner and his wife are very friendly and informative. They gave us really nice tips with detailed information. This was very handy.

The breakfast was good, but some eggs would have been nicer. The heating in the room is a bit uneven. The heater is right next to the bed, so one of us feels the room is very warm while the other feels it's too cold.

The location. Walking distance to the old town and the Cité is just a few minutes. The beds were extremely comfortable. The old-fashioned decor and furniture are very tasteful and in keeping with the style of the house. Jean-Paul was the perfect host - tres amusement! He freely gave us his time to advise us on attractions and make recommendations tailored to our stay. The breakfast was amazing. There was also a private garage for our 3 motorbikes.

The host was very approachable, they showed us what is worth seeing in Carcassonne and how much time we roughly need for each. The room was very clean and tidy. The bathroom with the shower cubicle was fully functional. We also had a refrigerator for our use. The breakfast was excellent. The location is excellent for exploring the city.

The property is very well located with easy walking distance to the old town in one direction and the castle in the other direction. Friendly owner Jean-Paul provides a very tasty breakfast and is very helpful with local information. The property itself is a charming period property and my room was a very generous size.

There was nothing that I didn't like or could find fault with.

Jean Paul and his wife are very friendly: they help us a lot with some tips about the history of Carcassone and places where to eat something on sunday evening, where to take fantastic pictures and so on. We have a problem with a scooter, JP helped us: he repair the crack for free.

Jean Paul is a fantastic host. He made us very welcome, he had time to explain what to do and see in Carcassonne, also where best to eat for the evening. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The house is close to the city centre and also walking distance to the medieval castle and old town. I would love to come back.

Jean-Pierre was very welcoming and took the time to tell us about what there is to see and the best restaurants to go to, bearing in mind it was a Sunday evening. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the host. The property was as described,clean, comfortable and a superb continental breakfast was provided in the morning to start you off on your day exploring. The decor of the property was traditional French which added to the whole experience.

Lovely place to stay , very convenient location - 5 mins to the city centre and 15mjn to the medieval city . Jean - Paul and his wife are very warm and helpful hosts. It feels like you are staying with relatives . Thank you for having us .
