We don't do detailed reviews very often, but this hotel deserves one! It more than met our expectations with price, location, charm, and quality it just was delightful. We had to leave early, so we did not get to try breakfast. We agreed as we were walking out in the morning that we would enjoy staying here again. If you are in Carcassonne for a visit, I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Oh, and it has nice off-street parking, though we did not have a car. It is walkable to the bastide, bus stop outside and sat market would be very close too.

Just a short walk to the old city with plenty of places to eat or sit and watch the world go by with a coffee. Just breakfast in this charming old hotel, but recommendations for local restaurants were perfect. Carcassonne centre is well worth a visit. The train trip from London was an adventure, much more interesting than flying.

Local taxi service was a little unreliable. Shame there is no sitting room in the hotel

Very welcoming and helpful staff. Large clean rooms. Comfortable bed. A very traditional French building/decor which had charm.

Nowhere to properly sit outside (other than a couple of tables in the noisy car park). Noisy if you want the windows open (there was good air-con & effective sound proofed windows when shut though).

Huge room. Stunning location

Nothing really. It was a little confusing how to get in and out as there are tables and a terrace for the restaurant blocking the way a little but it’s not a big deal. The breakfast was ok. A lot of packet food and the worst pastries and bread we had but I do expect a lot of french pastries!

The Hotel had a nice old-fashioned feel about it, the staff were welcoming on arrival. The car park was secure, which was good. The bed was comfortable, and the room was a fair size. The hotel is located not too far away from local restaurants.

The air conditioning unit was slightly noisy, but it was.bearable.

The staff and owners were very helpful from our arrival to our departure. It was very comfortable and our room was clean and the AC was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Location was great for the town and the castle. On site parking was a real bonus.

The road was quite noisy but with the windows closed not really a problem. I'm clutching at straws to find something I didn't like.

The hotel was convenient for the old town, medieval city and the station. Although situated on a busy intersection of road, it was quiet once inside. Room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast substantial and the owners were very helpful and friendly.

This is a wonderful old-style hotel close to the city center of Carcassonne. With the added bonus of free parking. The owner was very helpful and eager to ensure i was well looked after during my stay. Check in was fast and my room was mid-sized with a nice view onto the courtyard. The A/C was on when i arrived, so the room was nice and cool - appreciated since it was 38 degrees outside !! Bathroom was a good size and the shower worked well. Bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in a large wardrobe. Breakfast for 10euros was excellent , better than anything you get in the cafe's - typical French breakfast - croissant, bread roll with butter and jam and coffee. Also available cereal , eggs, fruit juice, chocolate pastries. The Wi-Fi was strong so no issues connecting multiple devices. Overall a very pleasant stay, great location 10 mins walk to the center of town and free parking make this a place i would return too.

Not much - the A/C was a little loud, so had to turn it off at night.

The property is a charming 19th century building near to the town centre and within 15 - 20 minutes walk of the old citadel. The decor in the property perfectly suit its style and period and the service was extremely good and helpful. We would certainly use this hotel again.

The manager is super friendly and very helpful! A big thank you, you made me feel very welcome and I had a great time. I would happily come back another time. The location is great, it is quiet and clean but it is the people that made the experience so memorable.
