This B&B is sited in an old house, well refurbished and very charming. Our bedroom and bathroom were big, beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast is served in a nice cave, with delicious regional handmade goods. Anne and Jean are gentle hosts.

Bathroom floods after shower, as usual for all cases we have a shower inside a bathtub. For dinning you should drive about 2-3 km, but choose carefully (there are some questionable quality touristic options) and make a reserve.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Tour de Cause. The most beautiful grounds, perfect for breakfast in the garden, or a relaxing evening read. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. I was alone, but the location is perfect for a romantic getaway. The breakfast was tasty and the breakfast room was fully stocked with maps, pamphlets, and suggestions for activities and sites to visit in the area. I also really appreciated that they had some beverages available for purchase as well as complimentary coffee and tea.

The only thing I would suggest is having access to a car or bike, as this is not a walkable area and the roads aren't pedestrian friendly.

Beautiful farm house, in a scenic setting, lovely pool and lots of lovely seating areas to relax. Breakfasts were delicious and full of homemade and local products. Jean and Anne were very kind and offered tips and help for local things to do - everything was so easy! There is a beautiful little creek nearby which you can swim in - we loved it.

Beautiful and quiet in the middle of gorgeous countryside. Are lovely hosts looked after us with delicious breakfast, booking restaurants for us and giving us helpful advice and recommendations for our stay. We were a nice walk away from Castelnaud La Chapelle. My partner had an amazing birthday trip, it was perfect! Would highly recommend staying here, thank you Tour De Cause 😊

Nothing Just one small question the room description mention the special feature of this room was a pool with a view, there was no pool view from this room May be the we did not understand correctly what was being described

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - a great start each day. We felt very well looked after by our hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We were attending a family wedding at Chateau Lacoste and the location of La Tour de Cause couldn't be more convenient. We enjoyed the pool area - especially to cool off after arriving on a very hot day. The bed was very comfortable and our room was stylish and spacious. The decor of room and bathroom had a lovely 'rustic chic' feel which add to the sense of comfort.

Anne and Jean are very lovely and welcoming hosts. They greeted us as soon as we arrived and gave a tour of the property. Very spacious and clean room. Breakfast is great and situated in the courtyard allowing you to enjoy the garden and sunshine. The pool is terrific as well. Highly recommend!

Overall, a very nice stay in the Dordogne. Excellent European style breakfast; fresh figs off the tree, homemade jellies and marmalades, pancakes and eggs made to order. Close proximity to attractions. Jean and John (our hosts) are friendly, professional and were always willing to help. This was by far the best part of a 4 week vacation in Europe!

We liked everything about the property! The room was beautifully put together and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious with homemade jams, fresh yogurt, and various thoughtful selections. The hosts were friendly and helpful. It was perfect. I hope that we will be able to return some day.

The location was perfect and the property was beautiful and very calming! Jean and Anne were lovely hosts and very helpful in booking a restaurant for us on the first evening, as well as having lots of great recommendations in the local area. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything you could need. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of homemade items like yoghurts and jams and freshly cooked eggs, which was a real treat. Would highly recommend staying here as a good base for exploring the local area.
