The hotel was in a perfect location and parking in the lot across the street was easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The croissants at breakfast were delicious.

My only complaint is that my room had no blinds or curtains on the window. The window of a building across the narrow street could see directly into my room. I don't think there was anyone there, but my privacy felt a bit invaded.

very convenient location to explore beynac castle and the river. Historic building with a great view of the town. Several restaurants and a couple of bakeries close by. Laid back atmosphere. A great restaurant nearby - La petite tonnelle.

we booked and paid for a triple room, and they switched us into a double. There are only two of us, but it would have been nice to have the extra space we paid for. Front desk staff was friendly but not as well informed as I would have liked - didn't feel like they gave us good advice for our visit. We didn't have the breakfast - nearby bakeries were ok, not a lot to choose from on foot. Overall the village feels like a bit of a tourist trap and if I stayed in the area again I would stay in Sarlat or another smaller less touristy town and visit Beynac for an afternoon.

Amazing location at the bottom of a castle with a river across the road. Simple and recently renovated rooms, clean and comfy. Staff were great, helpful and friendly. The restuarant (La Petite Tonnelle) just up from the hotel was the only one open (off season), it was a lovely little place - highly reccomend

Wonderful location and the room was small but nice. Good value as you are right where you want to be in the center of town. The paid parking lot is across the street and very convenient for such a location. Castle is right above so very unique and charming. Rooms are upstairs.

Breakfast was good, staff friendly and obliging. Very polite. Bedroom didn't have curtains, there were people in the courtyard smoking.

Not having a curtain to cover window and unable to lock door to the courtyard. So felt very exposed

Clean and tidy hotel with good sized rooms. Very clean. The breakfast was good. Super location by the Dordogne and was great for work. Restaurant on site, the food at which was lovely and reasonably priced.

I would have like a Voil at the window so the shutters did not have to be closed for privacy. A desk in the room would have been useful.

The location was perfect for our needs. Close to the parking, close to downtown, close to the castle and sites, close to our meeting place for our hot air balloon ride.
