A historic building located in the center. The hotel's new owner, Angel, truly makes a difference with a service-oriented approach. He is friendly and prioritizes customer satisfaction. He has plans to improve the hotel's conditions. We were pleased with the hotel's location, hospitality, and breakfast. We were slightly inconvenienced as we had to decide on breakfast during check-in, but we were happy after including it. Since we arrived at the hotel in the evening, we could park at the nearby park for a minimal fee until morning, which was very convenient. We wish Angel and his wife the best of luck in their venture.

Excellent location for Sarlat, only yards from its centre, with easy parking opposite the hotel. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very good recommendations for dinner and assistance with making a booking. The room itself was quiet, very comfortable and well-equipped with a fridge and a kettle, (a bonus for UK visitors in France). The shower was first-class too. Breakfast was very good, including a wide range of fresh products, (freshly-baked pastries!), but what surprised us was the breakfast chef, who made us really excellent omelettes - a delicious treat. Monsieur who owns the hotel deserves to be congratulated on his establishment. He is an excellent host but he also rolls his sleeves up and gets stuck in with preparing and serving the delicious breakfast. He gave us excellent advice too on possible restaurant choices and made sure that we were absolutely comfortable in our room. His advice very much helped add to our enjoyment of Sarlat on our brief visit there.

Can't think of anything significant or even trifling to complain about. We would happily stay there again.

I loved the staff and the interesting things they taught us and described to us. It was helpful since I do not speak French. They made a great breakfast and the place was shiny clean. In addition, we rented the apartment which was very very spacious. It included washer dryer! What a gift!

The only thing I missed was that I didn't have a window I could open.

Loved staying here so much!! Perfect value for money, the receptionists were so helpful at check-in and also when I needed an iron - they went above and beyond. My room was the perfect size, bed really really comfortable, it was cleaned SO well every day and 2 waters in the fridge replaced every day. Just felt very looked after, and a very relaxing, easy-going place to stay. It’s also in the best location near to everything and such a lovely town. Would 100% stay again, thank you :)

When I checked in on my first day you can’t actually enter the building until check in time which I’m not used to but does make sense and someone did come to the door and they stored my bag which was helpful!

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The owners went out of their way to provide information on local attractions and an excellent local taxi driver who saved the day when we were unable to get an Uber.

Nothing - the whole stay was perfect and in fact my friend and I are going back to stay at the same hotel in a few days time.

Good location near the centre of Sarlat La Canada. Check in was easy and the room was a good size and clean. WiFi and air conditioning worked well and breakfast was good. Free parking available in a car park about 5 minutes away, or you can pay for the one opposite.

The receptionist welcomed us with vibrance and smiles. The room was comfortable and very clean. Our breakfast was outstanding and even had especially cooked eggs freshly prepared 😋. We were fortunate to meet the owners who were incredibly kind and friendly with the mission of having a great hotel... Mission accomplished!!!

I am a wheelchair user. I could not use the bathroom facilities on this one

Booking charged me twice for the room that didn't meet my needs. I held back from completing a booking for this hotel. The site completed the booking "on my behalf" and added it to the booking I did complete a day later. Shame on you Booking!

When our travel plans were disrupted by a rail line washout, forcing us to rearrange the second half of our trip, the owner/manager worked directly with two car rental agencies in Montauban to ensure we could return one car and rent another that same day. Thanks to his his help, we made it to Bordeaux!

Location - 3 minutes from historic town centre on main road. Oldworld charm. Spacious bathroom. Tea/coffee making facility in room.

Took several attempts to be issued with a keycard that would work on front door afterhours, The first night we were lucky that another guest returning at same time let us in - as our card wouldn't work and we had not taken our phone with us so could not phone for help.
