This is a chain hotel and the room reminded me a bit of a slightly nicer Premier Inn - fairly basic on the whole but clean, spacious and with a massive comfy bed! The communal parts of the hotel are nothing like a Premier Inn; much more elegantly appointed. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, although we didn't eat there in the evening. There's a big garden terrace which looked pretty in the sun. The location in Chablis is absolutely excellent, it's right in the middle of the town. There are lots of lovely restaurants and wine bars nearby. There's also a car park at the back which is handy.

It's not a 5* experience but then you're not paying for that, and we thought it was great value for money. Breakfast was a little limited, but fine. The hairdryer might have been the most pointless hairdryer I've ever used, I could have asked someone to blow on my head and my hair would have dried quicker. Would suggest they upgrade this one facility for a much more convenient stay!

Although not reserved in advance, they prepared just for me a dish, which wasn't on the card of the day, but well on previous dates. With a smile. And delicious ! I had some idea of the wine I wished to taste. They confirmed my choice. Beyond expectations ! Always available for any help, advises. Along my experience in hotel reservations, I never experienced such immediate Internet feedback always fully documented. Free parking : nice !

A minor minus point : my room was rather 'sad' (the feeling when first entering) + some noise sometimes in the water management system. Maybe because they try to reduce the water garbage...

We have used this hotel on several occasions and it is consistently good. The staff are friendly and helpful and English is spoken if your French is a little rusty or limited. Rooms are adequate and clean. The terrace is an ideal place for an aperitif before dinner, which was served to us in the restaurant. The food menu choice is limited and the wine list is extensive. A limited range of wine can be bought by the glass. Breakfast is buffet style and self service with a good range of food and drink to choose from.

Nothing to dislike

Large comfortable room, comfortable bed, large walk in shower. Great location for visiting Chablis. Great wine list in restaurant.

Air-conditioning not working. We have been visiting this hotel for over 30 years when we stock up on Chablis and a highlight has always been the gastronomy of the restaurant- whilst the meal was good this time we didn't feel the food met the extremely high standards we have experienced in the past.

Amazing value for money, clean and spacious rooms. The courtyard restaurant for lunch is lovely and the location for Chablis centre is perfect.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable

Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with lots of options. Staff were very warm and friendly. Location was superb Pre dinner drink served on patio was nice

I had a beautiful room with a very comfy bed and outlook to the outdood dining area. The suggestions by Matilde at reception was very helpful. And I had a magnificent meal and wine at the restaurant that night.

Excellent restaurant (Gourmet) which everyone enjoyed. A table was booked for our party and the food and service was first class. Good quality breakfast available from 7:00am. Polite and helpful staff who knew enough English to complement our bad French! Second time I have stayed there and will do so again. Chablis is also delightful.

We stayed here just for one night on our way to Brittany. The room was clean and pretty - ours was on the second floor (which is good because of the old squeaky wooden floors) with a view of the village. Nice French antique style decor, slept with the window open and it was quiet. There is easy parking in front of the hotel.

The sewage smell in the bathroom

Super friendly staff especially as we do not speak French well. Food and facilities excellent. Reasonably priced.

Would have liked a bit more choice for the evening meal. The standard was excellent.
