Perfect stay at this wonderful hotel. Had booked a triple room as it was the only one of two rooms available at the time of booking, the other being on the top floor, but due to disabilities we weren’t able to go up the stairs that far. One look at my walking stick and we had been moved to the 1st floor with only 1 flight of stairs and the amazing lady who checked us in helped carry our luggage. The car parking space was very useful and no charge!! Breakfast was lovely and the 2 meals we had in the restaurant were perfect. Would highly recommend

Breakfast was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was excellent especially for Chantilly where parking spots are hard to find and you are always worrying about the meter. Room was reasonably sized with a nice view over the main street. Bed was comfortable if a little on the firm side which suited me perfectly. It's now my go to place for shorter layovers in the Paris area. Pricing was fair. Pp

Ideal central location, a few minutes from the railway station (with a regular, fast service into central Paris) for those that wanted to venture further afield. Excellent brasserie with a variety of dishes to suit all tastes, a good choice of wines at dinner and the 'petit dejeuner' was first class. All staff were superb (but noting Emelie and 'Manu were very friendly and attentive when dining in, evening and morning). Having travelled extensively on business, it is fair to say the room was not 5*, but it had character (which is what we wanted), the bed was large and very comfortable, and the bathroom sufficient for our needs. Almost a home from home. Based on value-for-money, comfort, location, quality of food and wine and town itself (well worth the visit), Hotel l'Avenue was an excellent choice. All in all, this prompted us to score the highest grades in the survey - a very rare occurrence.

Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel has a safe parking lot. And the hotel is a short drive to Chateau Chantilly which is ‘a must see’!

On the front side the rooms are very noisy. Since the room we had had no real airco but a movable cooler that blows hot air out the window, we had quite some noise from the machine itself AND the street. That gave us a restless night.

Very well located, clean, tidy, and everything you’d expect from a budget hotel. Bar at the front of the hotel gets the late sun, is well stocked, and had great food. Good and secure parking at the rear of the hotel. Very good value for money.

We were on the third floor room 9 with a windy staircase to get there, would be a problem for those with any mobility issues but we were fine.

Staff exceptionally kind and helpful; room tiny but clean and comfy, and surprisingly quiet when window closed! Brasserie on ground floor was delicious and always busy! So nice! Curtains fantastic--light ones and black out ones were great. Amenities in bathroom were great, and the staff were generous with towels! The location was incredible, and parking so very convenient. Walking distance to all the sights! I loved it and it was a great value for a quick, no frills trip to Chantilly and Lamorlaye.

Bedding could have been a bit better quality; needed more pillows, and maybe a chair of sorts? Tiny tiny room, but that is what I booked, so cannot complain!

The staff were very friendly and I loved the restaurant. They serve some traditional dishes which I liked a lot. Locals are doing coffee in the morning, and diner at night, which is always a good sign. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but authentic and clean. The parking is convenient.

I miss a bottle of water and a coffee machine, but the price is fair enough.

Very generous French breakfast and a very good brasserie downstairs. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fan supplied during hot spell, which was much appreciated. It's about 15 min walk from the station and 20 min from the chateau.

It was fine for our purposes but you might struggle if you don't like stairs.

The double room room was nice. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good including the freshly squeezed orange juice. The location is very central with its own parking (although overnight street parking is also available) . The restaurant/bar on the ground floor is good. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful. Nicely decorated rooms. A fan is provided.

There was a slight odor of damp coming from the bathroom. The stairs. Provided you are travelling light, the stairs is not a problem. It kind of depends which floor you are on. The single bedroom is quite small compared to the double. (Had two rooms)

This is a very friendly place right in the centre of Chantilly. The rooms are simple but comfortable and cheap for Chantilly. There is an excellent bar/brasserie below. Parking is available in the courtyard behind. WiFi is very good as is the 9E breakfast.

Rooms can get a bit hot as there is no aircon.
