The Hotel appears to be stuck in a time warp - a stay here is like returning to the 60s or 70s. However, the place was clean, warm and the staff were both friendly and extremely helpful. All in all, you get what you pay for and the Hotel de Paris was good value.

The car park - impossible to find on your own and a bit of a dump

Great location, right on the Main Street close to restaurants. Lovely big and bright room on the third floor with a sunny terrace with an expansive view. Receptionist was very welcoming. Hotel interior is quite old but excellent value for money.

Only two restaurants in town open during the week mid-September. But that’s definitely not the fault of the hotel. We got a discount at one restaurant for coming from the hotel. Bathroom is very functional but clean.

Nice location in Spa region. Close to Volvic Water source. Traditional Hotel with lovely ambience. Central location close to good restaurants (Pricey) and Burger or Pizza. Lovely room and Breakfast Lucky with Free parking outside as weekend.

The hotel is located in the Auvergne area. If you want to experience the charm of historic french hotel of former times, stay here. The hotel has an unique historic touch reminding you of the time before mass tourism... very friendly staff

At the moment there is construction on the street going on. So be prepared of the road blocked leadind to the hotel (03/2023)

The location is perfect, it has its own style, the town is beautiful. It accepts dogs.

You have to hold the shower when you shower, there is no way to hang it.

The restaurant was not open

the location, the staff who were very nice, large rooms and stunning views from the balcony. we didn’t try the breakfast so cannot comment.

perhaps the bathrooms could do with sprucing up. but again it remains good value for money

we arrived at the hotel at 2:30pm nobody was at reception. finally we were given the key at 3:15pm we had a lovely large room with balcony and fantastic views of the local town. Free parking across the road. Casino in town good breakfast €9. we ended up booking a second night definitely would come back as it was great value for money less than £40 pn
