Very well run establishment. Particular thanks for reserving garage parking for our vintage cars.

Did not tell us dining room needed to be booked in advance. Very irritating to have to go out on our last evening. Investment needed in bathrooms. Easily the worst shower of 7 hotels on this trip. For the prices charged at this hotel, nearing unacceptable.

Very cozy and quaint and the staff were great and helpful, restaurant is superb as is the wine list! AC in the room and comfortable bed was welcome.

The breakfast was over-priced for what it was. Circa 50 euros per day for a couple for a hot breakfast is a lot! Obviously, one can choose not to have breakfast.

Bistro dinner was not good value

The restaurant was exceptional and staff wonderful. The second night they were full for food and gave us a good recommendation over the road but would have squeezed us in if needed. The pool was a little warm at 28’ C for us and over the road but a good size. It perfect situation for visiting the chateau which is worth spending time over as both inside and out are fantastic.

The shower and bathroom were a bit disappointing for the money.

I stayed in this hotel with six friends. All of our rooms were different, as the property is comprised of five different buildings, each with their own set of one-of-a-kind rooms. Mine had a fireplace and expansive sitting area, with a big and modern bathroom. There was also a lovely courtyard to enjoy a bottle of wine before dinner. We ate at the restaurant which used to be a Michelin star rating and it was very good. They have room service as well. And the best thing? It was literally across the street of Chenonceau Castle. There was also a nice pool, hot tub, and sauna that were tucked away in a nice private area.

No complaints!

The room we stayed in was spacious and very clean, with comfortable pillows, mattress, and bedding. It actually had two en-suite bathrooms - one with a shower and the other with a bathtub! The room temperature was comfortable with the windows open in May ( on warm days). It is within walking distance to Château Chenonceaux and the train stop. It is also easy to get to other chateaux and historical sites in the Loire Valley. The hotel’s restaurant is fantastic and we chose to eat on site 2 out of 3 evenings. When we return to the area, we will book with this hotel again!

Very old world France. Wonderful location. Lounge areas were great. Very attentive staff. Beds amazing and extremely comfortable. Plenty of space and very charming.

Not their fault but be careful if you have mobility issues. Lots of stairs, uneven areas due to age (in a good way; age is mature and real not dated) of buildings. Very helpful staff about getting my elderly mother a better suited room but we should have absolutely requested a ground floor room. Again, not a bad thing about the property just something to be aware of.
