A real home from home. Owner very welcoming and helpful. Really nice touches with decoration and service. Breakfast all very fresh, mix of locally sourced and homemade. Great location on the river, alongside riverside walking / cycling paths.

Nothing controllable in that it was very hot while we were there - fans were provided (and not sure we would have survived without!) - and being on the riverside you had to be careful with opening windows in afternoon / evening due to the bugs. And lovely to be outside town, but it did limit access to restaurants within walkable distance.

Everything was PERFECT!!!

We loved staying at the Le Moulin du Port. Alex, the host, made us feel very welcome and cooked a great breakfast each morning with fresh pastries each day. It was a central location for the chateaus that we visited and was in a beautiful location. We loved the historic status of the building which was so interesting and added to the charm of the place. The best part is the host, Alex, she is great. We would definitely stay here again when we are in this area!

The property and location are superb with a view of the Cher from our room. Chenonceau and Amboise are close by. What made our stay so enjoyable was the friendliness of the owners who were happy to chat in French/English and give advice on where to visit and eat. Alexandra provided a lovely breakfast each morning with lots of local produce...some from her own garden. We plan to stay again next year!!

Le Moulin Du Port is a stunning retreat nestled in a serene location by the river. Ideal for a short escape or an extended getaway! The warm welcome we received after our long journey was truly uplifting. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable.

The location could not have been better. Alongside the river Cher the surroundings were fantastic. Alexandra was the perfect hostess for us.

Alexandra was a superb host, so helpful, full of humanity Their B&B was in a stunning situation on the delightful river Cher along which are super cycle paths to nearby chateaux (Chenonceaux is a must see) and picturesque towns Every day before breakfast we would say ‘wonder what breakfast will be like today ‘ and we were never disappointed Lots of teas to choose and coffee available all day The house is beautiful, unique with original water wheel, very comfortable and spotlessly clean Pool is crystal clear, inviting, heated to right temp welcome after a long bike ride Alexandra recommended some lovely restaurants, and booked them for us Secure parking very quiet neighbourhood easy to access We would always choose Le Moulin if we visit the Loire again Well done Alexandra We wish you success in you exciting new venture lots of affection Brian and Linda

Very beautiful area near the cher river The house has many lovely siting places And a great pool The rooms are simple but comfortable Nice Continental breakfast with local Ingredients

Because it is close to the river there are some insects in the room in after dark The check in is late

What a lovely place. Rustic in every way. Owner made homemade jam cakes pancakes and yogurts.. all yummy .. thank you 🙏🏻

The place and location are exceptional, but by far the best of our stay was Alexandra, she is an excellent host that puts her heart on every interaction, her attention to detail is unparalleled, from the homemade breakfast to the cosy character and atmosphere of the place, everything was a 10/10. highly recommended!
