Our hosts were phenomenal. They were personal, friendly, helpful, and just salt of the earth folks. That’s my best rating. We traveled with friends and have done so for over 15 years literally around the world. This place was rustic and classy at the same time. Breakfast was in a sun room and was great. access was easy to the whole of the Loire Valley. We stayed a week and were in and out a lot, often gathering in a guest kitchen in the evening for wine and snacks. Our hosts were solicitous of our comfort and needs daily. Will try to move future schedules to get here again
We were here in mid March and was a bit chilly but not at all uncomfortable

We very much enjoyed our stay at Manor de Maison Blanche. A wonderful setting and grounds. We felt like we were family rather than guests. We strolled through the property each evening and admired the flowers and fruit trees. The horses and Llama are an added treat. Great recommendations on restaurants in Ambroise. The room was ground floor and quite comfortable A pleasant visit with Aude, her mother, and Rob. We highly recommend a stay here. At their suggestion, we made a side trip to Chedigney to view the amazing flowers and roses in this charming town. Easy drives to Cheneceau and Chambord.

The rooms were spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and linen. It was very quiet so we had an excellent night’s sleep. In arriving we wanted a taxi to town for dinner and our host generously offered to take us in. We were able to call a taxi in the end but his offer was very much appreciated. Breakfast was very nice and the cherry compote with yoghurt was a big hit with me. We will definitely stay again as it is a great halfway stop between the Dordogne and the Chunnel. Great hosts!

The host was welcoming and friendly and breakfast was lovely in a summer room with a variety of pastries each morning. The site is great for a stroll and on a sunny afternoon a pleasure to sit outside your room and watch the horses and llamas in the field. Plenty of space in the large bed, good cupboard space and the drive into town took minutes , albeit a walk would be around 30 minutes or so. It is close to all the main attractions of Amboise. The site has a separate kitchenette for storing bought drinks , snacks and food and where you can make tea/coffee. All the cutlery is provided. This was a nice touch rather than just a fridge in a room, we bought a snack in town and sat outside in the sun with some french bread and cheese and wine. lovely
The shower was a bit challenging and needs to be secured to the wall better so it doesn’t spray all over the floor when you turn power on full , although this was minor as the room was spacious for a longer stay.

It's a beautiful manor, with little guest house rooms wrapped around a courtyard. There's also Lllama's, horses, cats, chickens and a dog. Breakfast was a lovely continental that was different each morning with fresh pastries and bread from a nearby bakery, cheeses, coffee and juice. The owner is super nice, speaks perfect English, and gave us helpful suggestions for eating, sightseeing, etc. We'd definitely go back if we're in the area again.
If you're not able-bodied, or have very heavy luggage I'd suggest you ensure you get a room on the first floor. Our room was on the second floor which required negotiating a very narrow outdoor winding staircase which was a bit tough with our big suitcase. The room itself was fantastic though and I'm sure the other 1st floor rooms were equally great, so just be aware of that.

Rob (English) and Auld (French) were outstanding hosts and gave that wow factor by arranging their classic car owning friends to meet us, and to put us in contact with Daniel Gatay for a memorable wine tasting on the premises. The Manoir is a lovely place and located within a 25 minute walk of the delightful history bars and restaurants of Amboise old town. One of our best classic car travelling experience’s with friends.

Really comfortable, large rooms and very friendly hostess, we felt completely looked after! Breakfast was excellent, lovely croissants, bread, home made jams and delicious coffee. Showers were good, bed was enormous and very comfortable. Lovely area outside to sit in, lovely gardens to walk around too. Annick was very helpful with what we should see in the surrounding area and where we could eat dinner in town. Altogether extremely accommodating, everything was wonderful!
Difficult to think of anything!

The owner was delightful--friendly, welcoming, talkative and interesting. Grounds of the old farm compound were in lovely setting with horses in pasture. Delicious breakfast in pleasant room in the main house. Though a bit odd, our room in the old converted stable was homey and comfortable for me to spend a sick-day in while my companions explored Amboise.
The room of our traveling companions was what seemed like the attic of the main house. It was spacious and charming but the steps to reach it were steep.

Beautiful manor on expansive grounds; away from the crowds but walking distance to town; Annick was a delightful and welcoming hostess who was full of information about where to go and what to see! The grounds are amazing and we sat outside our cottage in the evenings and enjoyed the peace! The large bedroom/bathroom was of French country style - warm and cosy; and there was a communal kitchen with all your needs for a family picnic at the table inside, or outside. We just loved the entire package!
Loved everything!

Quirky b and b, very stylish and beautifully done. Set in beautiful gardens and a menagerie of pets. A mile into the middle of town, amboise. Madam was very accommodating, friendly and helped us with our travel and supper plans.
If it rains there’s not much to do … take some cards and a food book just in case. If your gluten free as for a different breakfast, it’s all delicious bread, which is not great for the wheat free, there is yogurt and fruit otherwise, but you yearn for an egg!
