We had a wonderful stay during our visit. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to the town center. The facilities were great including the comfort of the room, bed and bathroom and it’s extremely quiet. Warm towels, coffee in the room, tub and shower, great bed and linens. The grounds are lovely, with lots of room to sit and relax, including the pool! The couple that owns and runs the hotel along with staff were helpful, engaging and just lovely. If I ever have the opportunity to return to the region, this will always be my hotel of choice.

This is a lovely hotel right in the middle of town, making daily strolls and access to food and shopping very easy. The staff is super helpful. I loved our room on the top floor with a view of Chateau Amboise! The large bathroom and huge tub was an added bonus after a long day of walking. We enjoyed the local brewery, Les Arpents for an outstanding meal, but our favorite part was simply walking around the town and returning to our comfortable, cozy room.

I enjoyed an ample breakfast. We had a room facing the street and we did not notice the street activity. There were several excellent restaurants within a short walking distance. We were there for three nights and once we parked the car, we did not use it until we left Amboise. Everything in town is in easy walking distance--even for us older folks. The elevator was appreciated.

I would have like a more firm mattress.

From the welcoming qualities of the staff to the comfort and the space of the room/bathroom, it all felt like what was advertised : a charming and cosy place to rest and have breakfast around the town center, next to the main touristic places. I couldn't find anything else to say than "wow".

The location and staff were fantastic! We loved the pool although wish it opened earlier for an exercise option. We loved our room! It was a perfect get away!

The only thing that disappointed us was not being able to use the courtyard with our own beverages and snacks.

Traditional old French property. Lovely gardens for a glass of wine. Our room was lovely on the ground floor with a very private seating area. Newly refurbished, fresh and smart.

On a personal level it would have been better to be near the town. But it didn’t matter too much

The hotel been wonderful. It greatly exceeded all our expectations. Top floor room been very spacious and cozy. Shower room had water massage built-in feature and bath tube. Hotel have also very lovely pool. Staff been extremely helpful and friendly. This hotel most certainly live up and exceed high mark that been mentioned in Rick Steve book about France. Room itself also very quiet and even with open windows. Hotel have very lovely garden (great for having glass of wine or perhaps shot of bas armaniac). I most certainly recommend this hotel if you want to take nice lovely retreat in heart of France surrounding yourself with French castles and scenic river

Everything!! Fabulous location, outstanding staff especially Elea. Room 8 is exceptional with views of the Chateau that changes with every hour/weather condition. Secure parking was great!

So close to town. Very comfortable room overlooking the garden. Plenty of space . Nice garden & pool to relax in after full day. Easy parking.

Pool was too cold to swim in.

Excellent hospitality, nice breakfast, and extremely comfortable and cozy room.

A spider in our shower (although being just off the garden you're going to get spiders I know!)
