Room was excellent, spacious and comfortable, with enough space for a couple and a large dog. They had a bath which was very welcome, for a long hot soak after travelling from Calais to Tours. The staff, when we arrived were so lovely, helpful, they made a fuss of the dog and even gave her a ball and some dog treats! I was amazed! Fantastic service. Unfortunately the ovens didn't work in the morning for the breakfast, but we were given a good refund for not having a hot breakfast. Cannot rate this hotel highly enough! definitely a very good stay!

The only problem I had that in the bath, when having a soak I noticed there was a lot of limescale around the shower glass at the bottom and also round the bottom of the tap, but apart from that, great stay

Always a pleasure to stay here, especially when travelling South - though have been known to return same route North, as know to expect same high standard. Staff so warm, engaging and helpful. Rooms clean, and bedding immaculate .. bed very comfortable. Evening meal always delicious … and restaurant staff attentive and chatty, despite always busy as popular bistro location, too. Breakfast very good too. Perfect location re next door to large Auchan .. stock up on great range of Loire favs. Best to park at front of Hotel, if can. This time, my thanks in particular to Emmanuelle .. her support and assistance re a particular request I had .. I cannot thank her enough .. was greatly appreciated. First-class Customer Service!

Excellent location, comfortable room and the food was fine. Limited evening menu-sensible; Good selection at breakfast despite a coach party eating before us. And we had been informed of this fact. Food was as expected for this type of hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful - professional and spoke English.

Did not understand the menu meaning until it was explained to us. Lack of basic information in the room - breakfast times etc Staff were very helpful when we asked but it would be good to see that in the room

Excellent staff, the male receptionist was very friendly, and answered all our questions. Excellent food served in the restaurant, which is a Bistro. Salad, grilled meat or fish, with chips and a sauce, served with bread, all very tasty at €15.90 a head. Close to the Motorway. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows.

No where to exercise the dog.

BREAKFAST!!!! Complete waste of money. No Tea except all the flavoured ones (not to my taste) Unable to do toast due to toaster not working, no butter, nothing counter written in English for those who can’t read French!!!

Great location, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Lovely restaurant attached to hotel with very friendly staff. Staff on hotel reception also very helpful

Parking not secure. We had to park in public car park next to hotel and worried about our trailer overnight

Room was ok but the sofa bed was out (and too heavy to make it back into a sofa) so this took a large part of the room and made it difficult to move around. The bathroom was good, it looked like it had recently been refurbished. The breakfast was good.

We didn’t like the location.

This was our third visit to the hotel and, as everytime, there is a warm feeling as soon as you walk in to the reception. The onside restaurant is also dog freindly which makes for a relaxing evening when travelling with animals.

This hotel is so convenient for getting on and off the motorway. We have stayed here about 6 times now with our 2 dogs. The dogs are made so welcome, with toys and food bowls in the room. Restaurant great for evening meal and breakfast always fresh, lots of choice and tasty. Staff always very welcoming and friendly.

The standards at Ibis hotels in France are just overall impressive. The staff was very attentive - I was traveling with my dog and cat and for the seven nights we were on the road, in 3 countries, this was the only hotel that had special supplies to make their stay better.

I wish there was an elevator - both my dog and myself do not handle stairs well.
