Very well located hotel to explore the Loire. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is great despite the smaller offering given the hotel does not have a restaurant....good scrambled eggs (fluffy and hot) though! Good restaurants are walking distance or a short drive away. The hotel is literally below the Chateau d'Amboise. Lastly, I left my iPad at the hotel....the staff and management were so helpful in getting the iPad back to me in Singapore....I am very thankful!!

we were driving and unknown to us, driving into the hotel is tricky if coming from the west as it requires a bit of a hairpin turn....difficult in a large van. It is very easy coming from the east. We scratched the car and the gate but the hotel were very understanding....reflecting the hospitality of the management and staff. We only had one unpleasant experience with a member of staff at the reception. Thankfully, we did not encounter that person again during our stay.

It was so stylish and in a great location. A few minutes easy walk to the downtown centre that had many restaurants and shops. Our room was a great size and very cosy. The breakfast facilities were great, accommodating various tastes and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help us in any way they could, and offered advice and made various arrangements for us.

Beautiful hotel and decor, wonderful views from room window, room very spacious and clean. Excellent customer service, the staff was very nice always. Walking distance from city center. Will stay again there if I visit Amboise again.

Breakfast could be better, scrambled eggs were always cold, this king of hotel and price could offer a better breakfast such as fresh fried eggs of omelets.

Location was excellent. It was like a stone's throw from the Amboise city center. Clean rooms. Huge bathroom, but a bit disappointed with the toilet. We didnt book for the breakfast. Very friendly staff. Lovely property.

Beautiful property, close to the center but away from noise. Exceptional staff. They were so responsive to everything and always willing to help.

This hotel needs an elevator for moving the luggage. Also, it would be great to include parking instructions to come in through the side street gate. It’s not a driveway but people can drive through it.

I visited in November with a friend and enjoyed it so much I came back with my husband. I requested the same room and they were able to accommodate me. Our beautifully decorated room had a lovely sitting area and a gorgeous view of the Amboise Castle. It was such an easy walk directly into the town. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Great location. Easy walk to all restaurants and shoppes. I LOVED the manager and staff - very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bathroom was too. Parking in the courtyard - steps from our room. I would like to come back every year.

Hotel is in a fantastic location on the river and not far from the city center, everything is easily in walking distance. The room was lovely, particularly the bathroom. There was a good range of excellent food at breakfast.

Beautiful setting and great location for exploring beautiful Amboise. Staff were very friendly and always happy to help.

It wasn’t always very easy to get a little nightcap, a minor inconvenience and definitely not a deal-breaker.

The staff were excellent, we wanted to extend our stay twice while we were at the hotel and this was done effortlessly! Although the hotel had no restaurant facilities it was a short stroll into the centre where there were plenty of excellent restaurants and bistros. Would definitely stay again.
