Great location. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was comfortable & had a great view of the chateau. We had no trouble parking quite close to the property free of charge.

We had breakfast one morning & it was very disappointing, scrambled eggs were stone cold & not nice. Not many choices by the time we got there either.

The location is excellent, parking was easy to find, and right out the back door is everything you want in Amboise! We had a terrace suite, which was wonderful and had covered and uncovered places to sit outside. Breakfast was excellent for a good value.

Nothing really needed to be better. We would definitely come back again!

Lounge, Bar not open once breakfast finished :( / On arrival - entire ground floor empty of people, staff / No specific Reception team? / Several switches in my room didn't seem to work & towel rail heater would not turn on. I did not ask about this at Reception as rarely anyone there.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The beds were very comfortable nice to be able to use the mini bar as a small fridge. Good shower and bath with big fluffy towels and robes. Breakfast was fairly good with a nice selection of options only criticism hot options limited and not very hot. We had 2 different rooms one was very spacious the other less so but it did have access to a terrace with table and chairs. In a great location for enjoying the delightful Amboise

Stairs up to room 14 a little steep and narrow. Range of hot breakfast limited and not hot. Otherwise a nice hotel

We had breakfast away from the hotel. There are plenty of great patisserie and restaurants on the hotels doorstep. They upgraded us and we chose a downstairs room.

The pillows could have been a little plumper. I had to use two pillows. At 4:30am we were woken by street cleaners and rubbish collections.

Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful--especially, Marie provided excellent service. Cleanliness of the rooms, free coffee by helpful restaurant staff, location of the hotel in easy walking distance from restaurants and the castle, and free parking made this hotel a superior value.

Our suite was a two bedroom/two bathroom suite: one bathroom had great lighting and a hair-dryer installed, but the other bathroom had bad lighting and no hair dryer; that situation was inconvenient. Also, the noise of the air conditioning unit was inconsistent and sometimes woke us. Breakfast buffet was okay but not great.

The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice. The reception area was staffed with helpful people. For a smallerh, historic, hotel it was very nice inside. The location of the hotel was superb. The town of Ambroise was such a nice stop on our French vacation.

More space in the rooms would have been nice.

The location is excellent, helpful, good bike storage, very good breakfast.

The superior room is written as having Loire or Chateau view. Yes our room faced the Loire but immediately onto the road ramp to the bridge so particularly unpleasant view and noisy with traffic. The room was also the smallest and most expensive we had during our 9 nights in the Loire.

We stayed in a suite with a private terrace and it was quite lovely. The main room was a sleeping room with a queen and a single bed set aside enough to offer good separation. This main room led to a large sun room which was a comfortable sitting room and bar area with a double slider that opened up to a very large and comfortable outdoor terrace overlooking the Loire River and with a castle view. Exceptional!

Only thing I can think of would be a safety bar to assist in getting into and out of the shower tub. We were able but that would be a nice addition.

Location was great. We had no problem on our Sept visit finding parking out front, although the hotel does not have its own parking. Room itself was clean and pleasant. We had a very nice dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Despite having an elevator, there were multiple small sets of steps, including a small set of steps up to the reception area, and a step down into the room that was without warning. Corridors were dark although there were motion activated sensors.
