Beautiful house in a brilliant location and very friendly hosts. Highly recommend. - parking opposite in a small car park and in surrounding streets is free and easy - rooms are spacious and decorated with interesting art and collectibles - fans available for when it's hot - shared kitchen - all local sights in walking distance - breakfast is superb - NOTE - check in is 17.00 which caught us out because I couldn't see this mentioned on the booking details.

Check in is 5pm which is fine but should be clearly stated on listing.

A very pleasant and comfortable B&B style place. Our quadruple room was big, clean with great beds and a secluded outdoor area. We took the breakfast and it was pretty good for its value.

Specifically in our room, the wifi collapsed after an hour. We contacted the staff but they did not resolve (and didn’t care much i must add…)

Beautiful place and beautiful host. We stayed in the terraced room on the ground floor which has direct access to both a private terrace and the property's terrace with tables and chairs. We had dinner there "all fresco" and was lovely! The room is beautifully decorated, extremely comfy bed, excellent shower with complementary shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast was amazing, wide variety and all I tried was very good. There is street free parking just across from the property which is great. As this is very close to the centre you can park and walk everywhere. The host Erica, is a kind hearted, lovely young lady who does all she can to make the guests feel at home. Meeting her dog Pablito was a big plus 🙂. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Erica, I wish you success and happiness. Thanks for having us.

The only detail worth mentioning is the fact that the second bedroom, where the 2 beds are, doesn't have thick curtains or blinds and is quite bright, quite early. Not that it stopped my teenager son from sleeping...

It is a very friendly and peaceful place to stay in a good location in the centre of Amboise. Erica was very helpful and accommodating. She gave good advice regarding eating out in the evening and booked a table for us at our restaurant choice. It had a safe storage place for our bikes and trailer and we could leave them there until we were ready to leave Amboise after visiting Chateau du Clos Luce the following day.

From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect! Erica was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating! She offered suggestions for restaurants and activities. The daily breakfast was fresh and very tasty!

There isn't much parking directly in front of the hotel but plenty in very close walking distance.

We had the ground floor room at the back, and felt very lucky - the room was huge, with a very comfortable bed, and we had our own private terrace. Breakfast was excellent, and the owner told us we could make tea etc in the kitchen at other times. The location is great, in the centre of Amboise on a quiet street.

Very friendly and accomodating host. Large and clean room with direct access to private patio. Great location for 7min walk to City Center and <1min walk to Loire. Good breakfast was included in price. Definitely a place to stay on our return with next trip. Covered and secure bicycle storage was provided.

Not an issue for us; some guests might have difficulty using stairs while carrying luggage.

Erica, our hostess, was fantastic, so helpful and friendly. We had a late train arrival & she very kindly waited for us until 8pm. Breakfast was great, and all that Amboise has to offer was in easy walking distance. We highly recommend Le Huis Clos and a big thank you to Erica.

Very nice and comfortable house to stay. It is close to the centre of beautiful Amboise, only 5 minutes walk to the centre. The parking was free and easily accessible. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Erica was very kind and helpful with every question we had. The breakfast was excellent and delicious.Its a very good experience to live there and we suggest you this choice and recommend it to you.

Beautiful facility, the photos do not do justice. Get the room with a terrace, it’s worthwhile to enjoy. Excellent breakfast, and service Great location and decently comfortable for a family of 4

Parking is off premises just a few minutes away, which is not ideal, but we made it work The rooms can get a bit hot at night, even with air conditioning.
