This place is really amazing. We spend there wonderful time. The Chateau itself is very unique. Interior is design in such a way that you can really feel the atmosphere of a castle. Bed is super comfortable. Breakfast was delicious ( specially the sweet part of the breakfast). We had a dinner once in the restaurant which we also liked very much (though my starter was a bit disappointing because I have chosen salmon and similar one was served for breakfast, desserts though was a little piece of art).

Everything was great. Maybe it would be nice if the guests are informed upfront that they can order other types of eggs or coffee for breakfast (there was only filters coffee available which was very delicious but no coffee machine).

Hotel is located inside big, big garden offering nice views, we made a walking tour and enjoyed very much. Easy to find and free parking on site. Far away, but no problem if you have a car.

The receptionist was not helpful to provide information and offer anything about the hotel. Then we just skipped off anything from the hotel We booked a Grand Comfort Double Room but was not grand nor comfortable at all. Our room a small, outdated Ibis room. The bathroom was small too and there was a bathtub which is not easy to get in & out, very dangerous. Pity we paid Euro 876 for 3 nights, such a waste!

It is a wonderful, professionally run, immaculate property. Great off-lead shady walk around the estate paths for our little spaniel was a real bonus, given we were breaking a long journey south. Dinner was gorgeous and the whole team very attentive. Rm 2 is a vast suite and it was so deeply comfortable, we felt like royalty. Their pool is elegant, sun-drenched and set in the lovely gardens. All in all, a really great experience. We will return for sure.

I can think of nothing I didn't like. We stayed two nights and I would advise three minimum and use the hotel as a base for Langeais, Chinon, Villandry. Azay-Le-Rideau - all close by.

We stayed here for a couple of days as a treat at the end of our holiday and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Just driving up to the Chateau was a delight as the grounds are stunning. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The bedroom was huge and beautifully appointed and the bathroom was great. All of the public areas were beautifully decorated. The pool area was stunning and very quiet. We spent a whole afternoon there on our own! There are a variety of areas to sit and have a drink – both inside and outside – which have table service (including the pool). We only had dinner one night as we had lunch out the following day. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of hot and cold food. Everywhere was immaculately clean and we’d be very happy to recommend!

It was very charming and elegant and the rooms and grounds were what we completely expected.Evening dining was excellent in glorious surroundings.

For a 4 star hotel and considering the price they charge for staying in a Chateau, we found the breakfast at Euro24 per person to be not only overpriced but very poor selections. No coffee machine(only filtered coffee), no boiled eggs offered, no omelettes offered, no cooked tomato. The only hot offering was average scrambled egg and just cooked bacon. In France, we have had much better breakfast at 3 star hotels. Completely underwhelming. We ventured elsewhere for the 2nd morning.

The property is very well maintained, and the park is beautiful. We had a few lovely walks around the castle. The staff was always polite and friendly Our room was large and very comfortable. It even had air conditioning! (Not a given in French hotels and much welcome with the 30+ temperatures we had). We also really liked the pool.

Service at the restaurant left much to be desired for the prices they charge. We had dinner the 1st night of our stay, and felt forgotten by the many staff present, with much longer waiting time than neighboring tables. After that we decided to have dinner elsewhere and were lucky to find a wonderful unpretentious little family restaurant nearby with amazing food and service. In our room you could hear a bit of noise from outside (not sure if from the stairs).

Nice hotel, it really looks and feels like an older castle. Location was great though not really close to anything important.

The staff can be a bit more forthcoming with explanations on how is not needed to drag luggages through dust (and a long hallway at the main floor could be used instead). Also, the need to use stairs is not great when carrying large suitcases. An elevator exists but the layout of the hotel makes it ineffective.

Beautiful countryside, gorgeous interior

Swimming pool was disappointingly small and not of a great standard. Breakfast- no one present to ask for general help with things like tea spoons for yoghurt and cereal. scrambled egg was cold- I formed waiter and no concern given. Had to go to the kitchen area to ask for water. Table not cleaned when cold scrambled egg plate placed on empty table next to us. finished cereal, bowls left for us to move also. For the money for the breakfast I would have expected better service that morning.

the property is magnificently grand: one can imagine how the aristocracy lived: the dogs were welcomed as much as we were, and there were acres to roam with them. The bed was very comfortable, and dinner was delicious. they took my gluten issues very seriously and made some starters specially: the staff were elegantly relaxed, always wirh a smile. we had a super evening .

perhaps some gluten free options at breakfast/ but its a small thing

Beautiful old chateau, classic and traditional style in the French countryside. Excellent restaurant. Very nice grounds. Bedrooms are traditional in style

Overall everything was great, I think a lot more could be done in the pool area to make it nicer. Also needed a bit of a clean.
