We had the loft apartment, which had a kitchen, settee area, a mezzanine floor although nothing much up there but a nice view through all the oak beams and a very nice walk in shower. Bed was big and comfortable too. We liked the central location and as we were on a cycling holiday we appreciated being able to secure our bikes in the locked garden to the rear. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice such as freshly made pancakes. Langeais was very pretty too with an almost fairy tale chateaux just a short walk away in the centre. A wonderful place to spend the first night of our French holiday.

The place is located in the best part of the little romantic town of Langeais. It is as overwhelming as the town itself. We had the spaicous loft on the top floor, over 80 sqm in size, with full size kitchen and gallery for additional beds. Equipment was amazing, views on both sides of the house, also on the castle. Host very friendly, everything stylishly decorated and very clean. Breakfast delicious with personal touch of the host as well. They also have locked garden where you can keep your bikes, also parking for cars is right next door.

When we finally got in we we’re generally impressed - nothing too flashy but a nice sense of being in a proper French establishment. The room wasn’t huge but fine for a one night stay, the bed was a good size and comfortable, linen and towels were crisp and clean, as was the room itself, breakfast was very pleasant, a fan in the room was very welcome as it was extremely hot, free street parking right outside was welcome and was reasonably safe for a motorcycle - all in all our initial disappointment was overcome

As mentioned, it was extremely hot, 35C, and we had been travelling in that for the whole day on a motorcycle - we arrived at the property 1 hour before the alotted arrival time in the hope of being let in to get out of our motorcycle gear but despite ringing the bell multiple times and messaging the property via the given phone number we couldn’t rouse anyone - we were outside for nearly 2 hours before anyone showed up, by which time my wife in particular was becoming quite distressed. When someone did finally open the door our plight just induced a ‘shrug’ - other than that, and the entry time being so late we couldn’t really enjoy the town or the chateaux, it was fine!

Good atmosphere and communication with the owner. Excellent location. A selection of the breakfast menu was a good experience, but more variety would be appreciated.

Loft was beautiful! Great location - a two minute walk to station and castle. Could store bikes in backyard. Fantastic breakfast, thank you!

The loft bathroom doesn’t have its own door. This would make the bathroom more private.

Everything met our expectations with a great host and delicious fresh breakfasts. The room we had was in the loft and it was just great - big, spacious and bright.

Nothing - it was all just rght for us.

This is an excellent place to stay in Langeais for cyclists. We had a lovely room and a great breakfast. The property is well located, an easy walk from restaurants and shops. Langeais is an attractive town and worth visiting.

Breakfast was very good with a nice selection. The owner was very friendly, however she spoke little English so it was difficult communicating. Loved the location very close to the castle.

What a fabulous place to stay in Langeais - the attic room was huge with great facilities, and extremely comfortable with great bathroom. The Hosts were fantastic and served a lovely breakfast every morning, also some nice restaurants in the town. Plenty of parking on the street outside. Thanks for a lovely stay with you.
