Warm welcome - our dog was very happy to be able to run freely around the grounds. Wonderful dinner together with the hosts and we had a great chat, delicious food including effort for my veggie daughter. So, so quiet during the night- beat and biggest bed of the entire holiday to France and yummy fresh breakfast with best coffee we had and Vegemite for the organic baguettes! What’s not to love!

Kerrie and Kerry are exceptional hosts, who treated us almost like family! The meals - and the accompanying conversation - were superb. La Jagée is conveniently located near some of the most charming Loire Valley chateaux, but away from the world's noise. We shall most certainly return!

Kerry and Kerry were fantastic hosts , the whole experience was fantastic , the house, the location, everything was great. Would definitely recommend Kerry and Kerry's home to anyone looking for a peaceful great location close to many stunning locations. There pet dogs were wonderful characters . great fun. Exceptional stay. Fantastic hospitality and we felt at home. The children loved the grounds and the whole experience. We were all sad to leave and cannot wait to return again one day.

Wonderful hospitality from Kerri and Kerry made our stay truly exceptional. Everything about the house is in a grand style and scale - the setting, the decor, the common areas, the bedroom, the bed and not least, comfort.

Having to return home!

first I hesitated to take dinner because the owners are Australians, but i was convinced by my wife and finally it was one of the best experiences we had with a stay - the property looks better than you expect, it has an epoque air which we really liked, big yard and trees, it is dog friendly, also the owners have two small playfull dogs - great dinner with many wines and food plates, could not ask more. Great dinner outside, excellent French technique for recipes. We booked dinner in the second night and it was inside, also a superb aristocratic type room - we visited only 2 castles in the area that worth to spend the time - Azay-le-Rideau and Langeais, also there are nice small French pastry shops around them - the hosts are super fine and you can make nice conversations with them - one of the best stays from years, highly recommended to not miss the Dinner, especially the confit duck Thank you very much for exceptional hospitality!

Great welcome from the owners - felt at home from the start to the end of our stay. Great dinner cooked by the owners. Good location from which to access many chateau, Tours, Chinon, the Abbaye de Fontevraud and many other wonderful sites. Comfortable and relaxing rustic location.

Quiet and comfortable place in the heart of Loire valley, 20 min walk to Azay le Rideau. We felt very welcomed by the Australian owners and enjoyed home made dinner with them very much. highly recommended if you desire more than an anonymous hotel. La Jagee truly has character and old world style. Our daughter very much enjoyed playing with the two very friendly dogs

Lovely place to stay. The house is beautifully decorated with fabulous art. Owners are very friendly and made a delicious dinner. This was our second stay here as we liked it so much the first time!

Peaceful and rural setting, full of character, dog friendly. Owners were very welcoming. 5 minutes drive from Azay-le-Rideau with plenty of lovely restaurants and stunning Chateau.
