Charmingly redecorated room in a traditional French hotel. Room opened out to a lovely view of the river. the bed was very comfortable and the room size was generous. There was bottled water in the room when we arrived. The bathroom was huge by French standards and had thoughtful amenities like q-tips. There's great riverside bar. We made a reservation for dinner which was EXCELLENT. Highly recommend eating there for their creative and delicious menu and beautiful dining room. Breakfast (extra charge) was served in the bar area and had all the standards of a French hotel breakfast. Although there's not tons to do in Clisson, we'd stay there again if we were in the area.

Toilet made an odd, persistent gurgling sound after flushing.

The hotel has a wonderful garden restaurant that leads down to the river. In the evening the trees are full of festoon coloured lights. The food,service and drinks were perfect.Its how you imagine a French country Inn to be!

We didn’t have a car so it’s 30 minute walk to the Station and hard to get a cab.

Brilliant location not far from town with a river right in front of the hotel and walking paths along the river. 10 to 15 minute walk into town was easy. Dinner was excellent although breakfast was a bit limited.

Wonderful place by the river. We stayed 5 nights with our daughter of 4 years. Very friendly staff and comfortable, modern room. Excellent restaurant, very cosy. We swam in the river and relaxed in the garden. Always a very relaxed atmosphere. 15min walk to the center of Clisson, the castle is definitely worth a visit. Perfect holiday location!

1 remark: our room was at the street-side and we had some noise from the restaurant. Especially the last night, when the staff was out on the patio until 3am, talking very loud, we slept very little that night.

Great breakfast, served in the hotel bar. Great service. We really enjoyed the evenings entertainment which took place on the terrace, great food and music. Lovely friendly atmosphere. The setting of the river and waterfall added to the delights of the evening.

Great location next to the river, wonderful restaurant with excellent service. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable. The staff were lovely, extremely friendly. Would stay again.

Our room was very hot at night, we could have been supplied with a fan.

What a charming place! Fabulous location, lovely Auberge. It was a very pleasant surprise. Spotlessly clean. Lovely bathroom with great shower. Gorgeous outdoor area. Nice dinner menu. A great stay in a charming, historic village.

The breakfast was exceptional. We had a musical evening in the open air with barbecue meal cooked by the staff. We also had lunch on the day of the departure. All the food was great as was the artisan beer and the Muscadet. The staff were all very helpful.

beautiful rooms and great location. Clisson itself is a very pretty town however not a lot open when we were there (Monday evening) which was disappointing however would like to go back
