Everything. We stayed for 8 nights. The Chateau building and grounds are beautiful and are set in a stunning location with views of the mountains towards Mont Blonc. Our room was the Cinderella suit on the top floor. It was spacious with a large comfy bed and lovely bathroom. We also had the health and wellbeing suit on the same floor with easy access to the sauna and steam room. Awesome breakfast with lots of choices. The hotel has four mountain e-bikes which I thoroughly recommend for cycle through the woods and mountain behind the hotel. If you have a car, days trips to Geneva, Anncey, and Chamonix Mon Blonc are all within a short drive.

It would be nice to have a bit more information about what is and what is not included. No price list for the mini bar. Dinner in the evening was ok but we had a least five different people attend our table of two.

The position of the Chateau is perfect as a stopover when travelling through France. The building is outstanding and striking on arrival. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room we had was served by a beautiful balcony overlooking the well maintained grounds and well into the alps with a view of Mont Blanc that was breath taking. The facilities in the rooms were stylish and faultless. The restaurant was equally as impressive, both in service and quality of food. To cap it all, we found it very good value for money. Really enjoyed the stay and will definitely be returning!

Nothing to dislike. The hotel is well tucked away and not easy to find without a good sat nav, but the long journey up the hill is re-payed by the magnificent situation of the Chateau!

Staff were lovely. The grounds and the natural meadow flowers were beautiful. Building was very nice. We used the electric bike those are so much fun and we loved them. Badminton courts were great and we played most days. Sauna was great, steam room did not have much steam, gym was not very well equipped. Massage chair was good and we used that several times. Very interesting chapel. I was very glad we booked this.

The restaurant was not easy to work with. It was difficult to book and when you dd manage to get a booking there were very few options on the menu, given we where there for 8 nights we struggled. The food was presented well but did lack flavor in a few instances ( know fine dining I live in Dubai). I think they cater for people who stay for 1 / 2 nights only. I think the menu and to limited. No room service was a pain meaning we had to eat out in the local village most days.

Fabulous location,stunning countryside.Unusual architecture.Our room was charming with a terrace looking over the fantastic views.The beds and linen very good quality.The staff exceptional. A Superbly fitted small spa. The food was good, however to have the same small menu for lunch and dinner every day was disappointing.

Surprising large shallow swimming pool. Needed a couple more flat lying out sun beds.

Beautiful place to say, some staff in particular were very helpful and friendly. Interesting property.

The restaurant meal. Had the Chefs suggestion. Very average. Entree bland, main (pork) tough and some parts very undercooked, eggplant caviar? Just eggplant in a lump on your plate. Gnocchi was bland. Dessert looked beautiful, fruit centre was quite nice but mouse had no flavour. Ice-cream was nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Chateau des Avenieres. Our room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The bath and bed linens were luxurious and pleasant. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The dinner was good but the breakfast was superb.

An exceptional place to stay at with great service and very comfortable rooms. the peaceful environment and the lovely restoration of this chateau make this a place to visit and stay. The owners are there to attend to your needs and are humble and very service conscious. Congratulations on what you have achieved over the past 3 decades

Pity the gym is not open till 9am but on reflection I understood why. they do not want to disturb the people in the rooms in proximity with the gym which is quite right.

Very warm welcome, delicious restaurant, not many choices but excellent recipe and local products. Waiter was extremely kind and the local wine delicious. We were unlucky with the weather and could not see the view that is apparently stunning

Our room was a bit small and the decoration was not really to my taste but everything was comfortable Bar is really big with a nice room but it lack a bit of a 'cosi' atmosphere Staff cleaning the floor in the morning did wake us up, no the kind of thing you expect in a Relais et Chateaux

We were put in the annexe which was nice but staff said it was “only 200m away”. It’s actually 500m and you have to drive on a section of public road after dining at the restaurant which is risky. New apartment not historical and noises carry through from above.

The suite we resided in was outstanding! Unbeknownst to us was a kitchenette in the suite. That allowed us to stay there at the chateau and enjoy the incredible scenery. The size of our suite allowed us to have a very open feeling as well as room enough to freely move about. I can’t say enough about our accommodations except superb.
