Stunning views & decor. Location excellent right on the lake path and an easy walk in to Annecey. Room was very comfortable. All of the staff we encountered were thoroughly lovely.

Minor points only, as we loved our stay overall. Breakfast was quite pricey at 35 euro, but it was delicious and the setting is so beautiful. There was very little drink service around the pool, went inside and there was nobody at the bar either, took a while to get served. We spent approx 5 hours by the pool / on the grass and were only offered drinks once. Room service options of an evening extremely limited (on a Sunday night with a young baby we had hoped to enjoy this, but it was basically cheese platter or desserts only). Expect a reduced menu but not that limited.

The location was good. There were some armchairs and pamlags in the shade which were very confortable, even to work a bit. The view from there was fantastic. The pool area was convenient after 5 o c'clock, before that time there was no shade there and the sun was burning. We liked the bar snacks such as the salads and a local cheese and little pieces of pastas together. The lake is wonderful and its water is very pleasant and clean. My husband liked the sauna.

They wanted to charge EUR 35 per person for the breakfast - we did not find that worthwhile. There are not enough trees in the garden. This is why there is no enough shade. People tried to escape from the burning sun but there were only few sufficient options. The lake are was OK, but there were no deckchairs we could only sit on the ground. There are not too many benches there. The deckghairs in the pool area are not confortable due to the hot tempretaure, the burning sun and the lack of shades. We had once a dinner in the hotel. It is considered as a sort of fine dineng. We had similar experienec in different countries earlier. This one we found low value/price, while the lady was pushing us to order more vine and more food.

Breakfast was good, but too expensive (35 EUR) per person per day. We were 4, so there went 140 EUR. The rooms were large and nicely decorated. The room was spotless and the bed was comfy.

We were overcharged 100 EUR at the restaurant. They added an extra wine and desserts we did not order. When I mentioned this to the server, she did not apologise at all. She said "I'll be back with the correct bill." When she came back, again no apology. She said "Can you please check this bill?" In the US, we would have gotten an apology and perhaps some free goodies. In Japan, the manager of the restaurant would have apologised personally and bowed. Here, we were treated very bad. After I said that the second check was correct, she asked me "Where are you from?"... What does that matter??? Are you a racist overcharging depending on origin?

The hotel is located in a really nice location with a beautiful view of the lake. The staff were really nice and helpful, specially Ms. Klimos who was always there and tried her best for a memorable stay for us. The restaurant is amazing, the chef and his team prepared us a perfect birthday cake for our two year old son, which was nice and delicious. A fun thing about the hotel was that the rooms were named after people of the family who I guess owned the place.

I had booked a lake view room, but our room was almost parking view. the tv room had the view of the lake but the bedroom was in the back and almost always dark due to the trees which were between our windows and parking. At checkin I asked for another room but they said that they are fully booked and no other room was available!

Pictures did not do the property justice! It was a fantastic hotel..fantastic location, great interiors, comfy nights sleep, delicious cocktails & the most amazing food! But the staff made the stay memorable and couldn’t do enough for us!!

The hotel is very well placed and the rooms are clean, quiet spacious and well furnished. The lake facing rooms have a great view. The staff are very friendly and fluent in English. The exterior pool was small but very nice to be in and they provided towels on demand without any hassle. They also have other services like bicycles and sup with extra charges.

Breakfast was expensive and not very well suited for vegans like me. The mini-bar refrigerator wasn't working and the assortments (not-free) were not clearly marked, so some family members were confused and opened them. Near the pool, they decided to place a lot of plants that had flowers, resulting in a large number of bees and wasps (some kids even got stung).

Exceptional location by the lake, overlooking the bike path. Very nice heated pool (26C) and terrace. Good spa with large sauna and hammam and modest indoor pool (28C). The room and balcony were lovely - light and spacious.

Many minor points that showed a lack of attention to maintenance including poor ventilation in the bathroom, which smelled a bit moldy. The WiFi in the room hardly worked - not at all for our phones and only very slowly with a computer. Two electricity sockets in the room didn't work and neither did several lights in the garden. In the spa, there were puddles by the entrance for no apparent reason. One shower head sprayed water on the ceiling and the pool had a high chlorine level while not being especially warm. Not critical, but it's not really a five star hotel.

The location was amazing. The facilities were great! Our lake view suites exceeded expectations. The pool and lounging with beautiful backdrop was my favorite part definitely a place to completely relax. Loved the close proximity to Annecy. We took the train from Paris to Annecy. Black Bass is a 10 minute taxi ride and a 20 minute bike ride.

Breakfast & dinner on hotel property was very pricey. The dinner the first night was outstanding and made up for the cost. The steam room was not open and working in the spa area we tried to use the sauna and that was not turned on for use 2 days in a row when made mgmt aware we were told the sauna would be turned on within 10 minutes that didn't happen not a game changer but it was a disappointment considering it was a service provided alongside a beautiful indoor spa pool to not be able to experience both was a bummer.

The location, food, atmosphere and lovely staff made my stay so so enjoyable. The facilities are fantastic but I didn't use them much as the lake is right on the doorstep and that in itself is a fantastic asset. I cannot recommend enough. I will absolutely return 😍

The phone and also the hairdryer in Sacha room didn't work during my stay - (minor minor inconveniences 😊)

Everyone on staff (front desk, room cleaners, restaurant waiters. Bar tender) was absolutely amazing. They were hospitable, friendly, and professional. The room was lovely, with tasteful decor and nice amenities. I ordered the full tasting menu in the restaurant and every dish was fantastic. I absolutely loved the flavor combinations. I tried two different cocktails over my stay, with Clement (the bartender) making me a drink of his choice each time. They were delicious! Rubin, my waiter, also gave me recommendations for local events that were helpful. Wonderful stay & I would love to come back in future.
