I arrived in the evening just in time for a delicious home-prepared meal of four courses. I was travelling on my own but all the guests were seated together and we shared stories. Really excellent value for money. In the morning we met again for a generous breakfast of fresh croissants and breads. The host was chatty and welcoming. Nice views over the valley. I slept in the dorm room, which was clean with comfortable beds and a shared bathroom/shower room.

When I first went to bed I was bitten by mosquitos, but after I put on some insect repellent I slept soundly.

simple Gite in a fantastic location. Rooms were a good size, very clean and comfortable. Both the evening meal (salad starter, fuck breast with pasta, cheese, and home made tart) and breakfast (croissant, bread, copious coffee, lots of different jams etc.) were first class. locally sourced wine was very drinkable, and at around €15 a bottle, great value.

Amazing view, extremely nice and helpful owner, very good and friendly atmosphere in general, peaceful nature around. Dinner and breakfast big and tasty. Location not bad, even by walking it’s around 40min (up the hill) from the train station and it’s a good place to start a hike. Would love to come again for longer!

Excellent dinner and breakfast and a super friendly host!

Breakfast was sufficient. Quite a climb from the village to reach it on bikes.

It was the first time staying in a Gîte. We had to hire towels. There was no self catering. Just a basic room with bed, shower, toilet. There was no air conditioning so extremely hot.

Sylvie is lovely and cooked us a lovely meal. homemade sorbets and jams at breakfast. spotlessly clean. comfortable beds and decent bathrooms.

we were cycling and those without electric bikes found the uphill to Edelweiss tough. accommodation is very simple - no bedside light. automatic lighting in family room which is guaranteed to wake up everyone when visiting the bathroom in the night.

Very poor Customer Service and interaction with customer’s … Seems to me, you are not welcome and should leave a soon as possible …( check out 9,30 h). Not welcome to be inside of living room, to work or leisure ( very strict schedules ). NO INTERNET AT ALL !!! It s such a shame be in a place where you have to work and relax and have no Wi-Fi!!! In 2 days never have it !!! Note: It was insinuated that is our problem and the reason I have no internet is because of my 2 IPhone devices and laptop. Been travelling all over the world , visited more than 30 countries and have never seen such a poor Reception and Poor Customer Service. Do not recommend this place !!!
