Reception staff extremely helpful. Great parking immediately outside. Lovely swimming pool. Fresh milk supplied on request for tea and coffee. Wonderful restaurant. Breakfast (all self service) was plentiful, though the one member of staff on duty was very pressured. They kindly supplied gluten free bread.

A minor point only: I hadn’t brought hair conditioner and there was none available. The rooms were a little dark because it wasn’t possible to adjust the outer shutter/blind.

We've stayed here for 1 night on our way to home from our holiday. Unfortunately my wife suffered a torn ankle ligament on the last evening of our holiday so the trip home wasn't very comfortable. When we arrived I got to the reception to ask if there was a wheelchair available, there wasn't but they quickly went trough the options and offered an office chair. A little bit awkward to push my wife though the lobby on an office chair but it worked. At checking in the staff offered us roomservice for dinner and breakfast, that made it way easier for us to eat comfortably. The room was clean and quiet and the beds comfortable.

The restaurant food was very good. Staff were helpful and friendly. Service swift and efficient. The room was clean. The bar area was very nice and the pool looked great, pity we didn’t have time to enjoy it! Breakfast was great, good choices, especially as one of us is diabetic. Excellent outside space to walk the dog.

We would have liked a small fridge in our room, however staff were helpful and able to accommodate our needs with 24 hour access.

Staff were really friendly and helpful particularly Maxime and Jade. The room was a little small for a 5 star hotel but was adequate. The evening meal was quite delicious although very expensive, around 250€ including a bottle of wine which at 52€ was at the bottom of the hotel’s price list.

I thought the restaurant for an evening meal was very at around 250€ for two people. The wine list was very extensive but at the same time very expensive.

This is an outstanding property. We have been using this for about 5 years now - travelling down to the South West of France. It is the most fantastic half-way stop - supremely comfortable, modern rooms with excellent facilities; amazing food; first class service; a beautiful pool and terrace for the summer months; electric vehicle charging points; and minutes from the autoroute.

Super quality hotel. Quite an isolated location but well connected to A20 and Chateauroux. Room was huge, well equipped and very comfortable and clean. Pool was great. We didn’t eat at the restaurant as we chose to get a burger from a more child friendly restaurant nearby but the food looked excellent and the restaurant was very busy. Breakfast was very good. Will stay again for sure!

Dinner could have been a bit more (small) child friendly but lots of other nearby options

The convenience for us travelling from the Hautes Pyrenees back to the U.K.

The only irritation I had when booking. there was no indication on the website that the restaurant is closed on a Sunday evening. I had originally booked the hotel on our way down to the Pyrenees but didn’t find out the restaurant was closed until I was committed to staying and not being able to cancel my booking and only able change the date of my booking I had to alter my holiday arrangements and book the hotel for our return journey for a Saturday night stay.

The food was amazing, the staff were lovely! The view was beautiful from the back garden! The barman was so nice! He even gave us blankets to sit outside with! And gave us snacks each time we had a few drinks. Beautiful place! Good English speaking too!

Location ideal for access to A20, and for buying petrol at Total, Deols. Quiet, comfortable room. Friendly and efficient staff. Superb dinner. We were impressed by new breakfast room in sous-sol, which is well lit and attractively furnished with tasteful decor. Wide variety of breakfast items, and hot scrambled eggs! Convenient parking.

Unfortunately, the weather was too cool for us to be tempted into the swimming pool!

This is a simply wonderful place to stay. For the cost, we know of nowhere better for an overnight stay while journeying through France. For us, while we use the Relais St Jacques as a very civilised stop en route to elsewhere, it has almost become a destination in itself for our family - with its comfortable and spotless air-conditioned rooms, walk-in showers, beautiful pool area and terrace, and fantastic restaurant (with outside dining in the summer). All of this, coupled with wonderful service, ample parking, and incredibly convenient location, makes for the perfect hotel.
