It’s fairly close to the main shopping street. Rooms at the front overlook the sea and you can see the Chateau round to your left. Lovely panoramic breakfast room. Underground car park. Superior rooms have ideally designed wardrobe for luggage, and hanging of clothes directly above plus drawers below. The shower has a non-slip base which we regard as essential for older people. The Mercure in Deauville has a dangerous, slippery surface. Why can’t designers do the sensible thing? Olivier in the front desk helped us a lot. Breakfast menu is fine, but why put those heavy cereal jars high up on a shelf?

As above, for older people the very heavy cereal jars are hard to lift down from high shelf

Beautiful room with view on the beach - comfortable bed - breakfast with a view - nice breakfast assortiment. Private Parking - Beach, center of the city and restaurants at walking distance.

Not much really outside the fairly high price which is partially justified of course- Yet, There used to be a 50 m swimming center (with sea water and a 50m pool) in front of the hotel which has closed unfortunately. Let’s hope it will reopen in a near future as this is one of the reason why I chose that hotel. I just did not know that the center was closed...

Room was very clean, air conditioning was quiet, the room was nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable

The breakfast was lovely with fantastic selection but a bit caotic. Don’t like hot drink machines. Also toaster was very slow and small, so people were getting impatient waiting to use it. Would be better if you were served fresh coffee or tea and toast was made for you.

We loved the secure underground car park with a lift direct to our room floor. Rooms were large with lovely sea views. Bed large & comfortable. The cupboard to put open cases in was so helpful as we didn't want to unpack for one night. though I couldn't find the switch for the light, so it was on all night. There were hangers too. Breakfast was amazing, with bacon and scrambled egg, and 2 loaves labelled "gluten free"! there were many people at breakfast so obviously worth their while to provide this. few hotels in France he as anything gluten free. The staff were all very quick to help- I asked for gluten free and a new loaf appeared shortly afterwards. also Almond Milk! 10/10

The sea view was over a car park and the rooms overlooked a roundabout and the main sea front road, which was quite busy. Great sunset though! . The room temperature was set to 20° which wasn't warm enough for me. It had been at least 23° everywhere else we'd been (south and west coast of France). With the glass wall/ floor to ceiling windows (and you can open some!) it felt too cool, and I could find no way of adjusting the temperature. The controller on the wall was quite old and non user friendly. I was too tired to find out how to contact Reception to ask.

Perfectly located for exploring Dieppe. Helpful staff who allowed us to park our car and access room before check-in time when we arrived early. Rooms have been updated and are comfortable but possibly a little expensive for what you get. Our two teenagers weren't too impressed with bathroom arrangements - the shower and sink are in the main room so you have to negotiate arrangements around privacy. The bar staff were friendly and we enjoyed having somewhere other than the room to sit.

As mentioned, the bathroom arrangements are a little strange. Not the hotel's fault, but be warned - we ate in the on-site restaurant and were disappointed with the food. We should have stuck with the bar food available in the hotel bar: it looked a lot more appetising!

Your staff are lovely, smiley and welcoming, always helpful. Superb breakfast, beautiful food and wonderful variety, all superfresh and delicious. It really set us up well for a day's cycling. Loved the seaview dining room, I looked forward to being there each morning. Definitely a great asset. We all loved the big chairs in the bar downstairs too. Nice atmosphere and environment. My room was lovely, so clean and comfortable. Bed huge and luxurious. Delicious green tea with mint. Lighting in the wardrobe was a useful feature.

I would have liked a comfortable armchair in the bedroom.

Spacious room, wooden floors, convenient bathroom, although having a door in the bathroom would be nice.

Location is fabulous directly opposite the beach and swimming pool complex, just below the castle on the hill. The hotel has a car park which is underneath but if this is full, there is ample public parking directly opposite. Bed was really comfortable and the extra bed was already made up for us on arrival.

I had to do some work in the afternoon and the table in the room was too small to be able to have my laptop, mouse mat and folder out properly. There was no desk. It would also have been nice to have a door to the bathroom - the shower area did not have a door and was in the bedroom.

Room was a really good size for a Standard. Lots of space. Very light when the sun came out! Nice touch to have automatic lights in the glass-fronted wardrobes. Good shower and wash area. The fridge was a real bonus so we could have fresh milk with our morning tea. Staff were very welcoming. Will definitely return.

Didn't like the small cardboard cups in the room, but we'd read about this so took our own mugs and glasses. The room could have benefited from some hooks near the shower for hanging towels/clothes. Teas available at breakfast would be better as bags, not loose-leaf. The bar was lovely but understaffed. Didn't know we'd have to pay a security deposit, which showed on my card as if it had been taken, and is still 'pending' four days after we left.

This hotel is in a great location, right on the sea front. Parking in Dieppe is very difficult so having a (secure) car park (albeit 13€ a day) is a bonus. The breakfast was first class and it's good that it is in the restaurant on the 4th floor with a great view over the sea front via the panoramic window the length of the room.

The only downside was the room we had - it was looking very 'tired' i.e. in need of a refurb. There was a fair bit of mould around the bottom of the shower too which is not a good look!
