Fab place to stay, quiet, clean and excellent value. Great location for the market, bars and restaurants. Kind and helpful staff. We have stayed many times.

A USB port for charging devices would have been useful.

We booked for a one night stay. Perfect for a family of three. All we wanted was a clean bed and a hot shower. The staff were great and really helpful. The room was dated but large enough, clean and the bathroom had everything we needed for that welcome hot shower. Breakfast was a buffet and definitely what we needed before catching our ferry. Parking either right next door or in the Marie car park is bright and secure. And it’s close to restaurants and bars.

It might be a little noisy for some as it is on one of the larger roads through the city. It is a little dated and has no frills, but is great if you just need a hotel that is somewhere to sleep, eat and shower.

Breakfast was excellent, particularly for the price. There was a wide selection (2 types of baguette, other bread, fresh pastries, 3 types of cheese, 2 types of butter) much better than at similarly priced hotels. The location was excellent, very close to the centre of Dieppe, so very convenient. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was basic (but what you expect from a budget hotel) but had hot drink facilities, which is unusual but very welcome in mainland Europe. Probably the best budget hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Nothing. As it was a budget hotel I wasn’t expecting luxurious fittings or a view. It was very very clean with a comfy bed & well presented bathroom.

I liked the 24 hour desk, ability to accommodate my classic bike for the London Paris rides along the Avenue Verte, and well organised and good value breakfast buffet arrangement

Completely inadequate number of electric sockets , some not working and tightly positioned on 3rd floor rooms (I tried 2) so adapters for charging phone and other batteries or for UK plugs could not be fitted. There should be at least one socket on each side of a double bed.. The room with bicycles should have been kept locked. It's not a real concern, but the name is ambiguous on Google Maps the Hotel is Hotel de Gens de Mer - not Egg.

A little noisey at first but it all settled down later. Breakfast was adequate for sure. Plenty to choose from. Not sure why I chose this hotel but probably because I didn't have to share a bathroom, so completely private. Shame about lack of parking. I arrived early evening so parking on the street was eventually found and I went before daytime charges came in to effect. Car park tariffs were confusing. Staff friendly and courteous. It was an ideal place for me to stop instead of doing night time driving.

Lack of fresh air. When I opened the window the overpowering coffee fumes forced me to shut it later.

Well set out breakfast. 24-hour reception. Storage room for bicycles. Staff were helpful and friendly. Very good price if booked in advance. Central location.

Only 3 electric sockets in rooms, including one for high wall mounted tv. One did not work. Positioning of the other meant UK plug adaptor and fitting for phone recharging could not fit. In 21 century, working accessible bedside sockets are important. If 2 or 3 were sharing the room, this would be even more of a problem.

Super for a few days at Dieppe! If you’re visiting in summer and you’re sensitive to noise, I recommend bringing earplugs – the seagulls can be quite loud at night! But with earplugs, it’s perfectly fine. The hotel itself is really clean and comfortable. T he staff were very friendly and attentive. We stayed for a short visit because I was doing a trail walk, and they were super flexible and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again if I come back to Dieppe!.

Well, signed and easy to find, check-in was very friendly and smooth. Every interaction with the reception staff was positive and friendly and they were happy to lend us a hairdryer when my Mrs realised there was not one in the room, and she had not bought hers. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and good value for money, and again, the staff were very friendly The very heart of Dieppe is only a two or three minute walk away from this hotel literally just come out the front door do a left and left again and you’re there. For the seafront come out of the hotel turn right, go to the traffic lights and turn right and it’s straight in front of you. Although there is a paid third-party car park next door and paid for on street parking outside the hotel . Really,you don’t need to worry as there is plenty of free parking nearby in Dieppe and in all of our many trips to Dieppe have never had any problems finding free parking spaces, even at the busiest times

The bedroom carpet definitely seen better days On one occasion after our room was cleaned the door was shut, but it was not locked.

The room was great for one nights stay, everything I needed and it was quiet. The breakfast was what you would imagine, continental! (Wonderful and high quality for the price. Recommend). The location is actually perfect - you are just a stones throw from the market (on a Saturday), and all of the best tourist attractions are within easy walking distance (you can even see some of them). Staff were superb. I arrived late, but they accommodated my every need. Slight language barrier upon arrival (excuse my lack of French!), but the lovely lady behind the reception checked me in swiftly. If you try to speak some French, they will appreciate it greatly (google translate works perfectly fine). Would recommend to anyone. Thank you.
