The property is located in a beautiful countryside set up with plenty of nature around it.It is very quiet and green. Our host Amelia, she is the best host so far in my experience. Very helpful and charming and made our stay very comfortable. You can park your car in the safe location infront of the property. The room was very beautifully decorated with most of the needs and comfy cozy bed and pillows. The breakfast was perfect(delicious crepes, home made jams and cheese). I was sad to miss the dinner option which needs to be confirmed 48hrs before.We took a walk around the village and it was very refreshing. I would surely stay here again if I am in Normandy. Nothing at all

Amelie was a lovely host, very friendly and she couldn't do enough for us. She even offered us an evening meal if we had required it. Breakfast was amazing. Eggs from their own chickens and the homeade honey was delicious. The whole place had a real home from home appeal with a huge lounge area for us to hang out if we had wanted. Beautiful countryside location with safe parking for our car which was a bonus because our car was packed to the roof with our possessions. Big comfortable bed to sleep in. Tea and coffe in our room but was also available to help ourselves at any time n the breakfast room. There is not much more we could have asked for.

The breakfast was excellent - so much choice & so well presented. The communal areas and beautiful garden were very much appreciated. Amelie (the host) was really lovely.

I wasn’t aware when I booked that the room had no windows. There were 2 skylights, but due to a massive storm during the night, we had to close these. The room was also quite small. However, the bathroom was lovely with a big shower. I would have liked another pillow as, for my personal choice, the pillow was much too soft

Perfection sums up our experience here. A beautiful spot, truly a little corner of heaven – picturesque, peaceful, pet friendly, - absolutely ideal for a couple / family escape for a relaxing holiday.

There is absolutely nothing to moan about. I have no complaints whatsoever. All I can say is keep up the brilliant work you do! Highly recommended!

We would have liked an evening meal here when we arrived but the owner said she was not cooking that evening. However she recommended a local restaurant where we booked and ate. Just a short while later we were advised that the owner could provide a light supper but our booking was made. Supper at the chambre d'hote would have been good. Breakfast was plentiful and a good selection. Host was happy that I took some I was served with away for later!

Nothing. A charming host with good English, a lovely property, we had a lovely room on the ground floor. A real treat to stay there.

La Lit is an absolute gem! Such a beautiful property, chilled atmosphere, stunning decor (Amelie's husband's photography is awesome) and peaceful location. The garden was lovely with sunflowers, a horse, bees and chickens. But best of all, Amelie. She was so friendly and amenable. Breakfast was delicious! Homemade apple juice and honey, the stars. We had a wonderful variety of ham, cheese, crepes, yoghurt, jams, croissants, cereals. Amelie was very kind and was happy for us to pay for breakfast by bank transfer on our return home, which made life easier.

I really cannot think of anything bad to say, I just wish that we had stayed longer!

The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the house itself is gorgeous. Amélie is super friendly and welcoming, and her little dog was a big hit with the children! Great outdoor space and shared spaces. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be on our list to visit again!

We have travelled the world, but this is the first time we are not really sure we want to leave a review and that is because this place is a piece of heaven and we can only hope it will remain like that. Everything it is mesmerising. A clean 10.

Thank you to Amelie for her warm welcome. The rooms were spacious, clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. In a stunning location and Amelie’s extensive breakfast with homemade produce, and delicious evening meal, were wonderful.
