This was a return visit as an overnight when crossing to/from Newhaven. When we first stayed a few years ago, arriving in the dark, we got a bit lost, but this year, using Google maps and as we knew the location, this second stay was much easier. The location is ideal when using the Newhaven-Dieppe Ferry. Since our last stay we noticed several improvements. There was nothing lacking - tea and coffee making equipment was a great bonus and the room had modern ensuite shower and wc, was quiet and the bed comfortable. We received good communication from the proprietor making self check-in and check-out very easy. As we needed to continue our car journey early, we did not need the breakfast.

It was clean, well equipped, remote access actually suited us as we needed flexibility due to unknown arrival times. It also has character and was not just a mundane cheap hotel - good value for money considering the charm.

The only two things were the parking location and access weren’t immediately easy and obvious - but I hadn’t picked up the messages from the host in time (which were clear). The other thing was some of the bedding was not freshly washed and smelled like they hadn’t been changed from other guests. This was rectified within an hour or so.

Really beautiful place, it's perfect experience for french countryside, romantic and quiet. The location it's easy access by car, you can park close to the seaside (seems Saturday will be difficult). We need to drive 3km to get dinner, but all fine if you have car. The room it's clean, spacious for two, have coffee machine,hot water cooker, shampoo etc. walking distance to the coast with cliffs. Breakfast with high quality bread was brought to the bed by landlord, lovely. Good communication with landlords even if non-french speaking

-The bedding materials seems a bit outdated, will be better quality to suit the whole image. - Coffee cups without spoon a bit inconvenience.

The room was quite small but had been recently refurbished or the whole house had been recently up dated into several holiday lets. Decor was good and the room was very clean. The room was quiet. Location was perfect for us as we had a ferry at 6.30 am and the car ferry was 10 minutes away. Parking was initially a bit of a problem in a narrow road but we noticed this improved later.

A bit closer to a restaurant or pub by foot would have been good as we did not want to lose our parking spot!

The apartment was well furnished and ideal for our short stop in Dieppe before catching the ferry. Breakfast was ordered by text as was check in etc and delivered as expected which was a very good continental breakfast. The apartment was quiet and an ideal walk to the beach.

The parking was on the street which was ok if during quiet periods. We did have to park quite a long way away until people parking for the beach had gone and we could park outside the house. We found this a security problem as we had cases and golf clubs etc.in the car which we couldn’t unload. And lack of restaurants within walking distance.

Good location, very convenient for late night ferry arrival. Room was clean, bed comfortable and the offer of breakfast was a nice touch.

Access was a bit casual. We arrived to find another couple in our room as they’d simply taken it as it was nearest the door. Not a problem as we took theirs which was identical but could be avoided by not leaving keys in the doors. Key boxes were there and using them would have saved the confusion

A bright, clean and spacious first floor studio with sitting area slightly separate from the bedroom. Small kitchen area with minimal but adequate equipment. Spotless modern shower room. Two big windows looking out over the garden. Street parking is ok. Breakfast could be taken in the studio or in the garden. 5 minutes to the sea. Pebble beach with sand at low tide. Quiet location with no seafront businesses.

Minor detail but the pillows were too thick to be comfortable. A choice of two pillows each would have made all the difference. Bedside lighting was from two pendant lamps that could not be operated so one was off and the other on. (Made it very bright for the one who goes to bed early, when the other is a night owl). Two minor things but overall lovely.

This villa was perfect for us as a couple. We took our bikes from the UK and cycled into Dieppe so no problems with parking etc lt takes around ten minutes. The villa was lovely, very well equipped with a kettle, fridge and you can cook which we did a couple of nights and ate outside. A short walk down to a little beach was perfect to watch the sunset and a swim. We will definitely be returning.

Nothing couldn't find anything to dislike.

A short car drive from the ferry terminal. A lovely quiet location. A short walk to the beach. The centre of Dieppe was a 40 minute walk away, The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Bed linen, towels and toileteries were provided. The bathroom with walk-in shower was excellent. We ordered breakfast and it was delivered exactly on time. The fresh croissants and baguettes were great.

No dislikes at all.
