Absolutely everything., the room was lovely, bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast is the best I’ve had anywhere, Isabelle is an amazing hostess. The restaurant along the river offers delicious food and wine and the duck is a speciality. The old mill that is still operating was really interesting to watch and learn about and the nut oils they make there are divine, along with the duck products as well. We had a room with a balcony and only wished there had been more days available to stay longer. To all the aussies out there reading this review, do yourself a favour and stay here.

The location is wonderful and surprising! I found it perfect for my travel plans and I had the chance to meet Isabelle. The breakfast was exceptional and authentic and the outdoor seating is a great place to start your day. The room was clean and the terrace was big and with a view on the river. Thank you, Isabelle for this wonderful stay!

A lovely place in a peaceful village. The old house is beautiful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, even though we didn’t always share a common language. The food in the garden restaurant was excellent.

Beautiful and unusual place to stay. I arrived late and very tired during the Race Across France bicycle race. My brain wasn't functioning properly but the owner was very understanding and went out of their way to get me checker in okay. Highly recommended. Thank you.

The moulin is a little paradise. Very nice room, good breakfast, lovely tour around the place and also really good dinner in the garden restaurant. We would love to come back!

Donzy is a small town not too far from Sancerre. The Moulin was a nice old house with a very friendly, charming and attentive host, Mrs. Isabel, who helped us also with a restaurant booking, as we arrived very late. She made our stay very interesting also, by showing us, how the old but still functioning oil mill is working. The setting of the breakfast area outdoors between the two small rivers was amazing, including a beautiful swan cruising around beside us. If we would have known, how nice the house, the setting and Mrs. Isabel are, we would have stayed longer there.

Top location, clean. Good bed and good shower/bath. Very friendly staff! Beautyfull house and garden. Comfortable. Good atmosphere. You feel welcome. Nice garden were you can enyoi local specialities (cheese, charcuterie, beer, wine etc.).

There was variety of fresh bread and crossings, served with choice of hot and cold drinks, with unexpected opportunity to taste the home made nut based products, so tasty.

Super location on the river. Very friendly welcome. Local restaurant within two minutes walk with lovely food. Room had a terrace to sit out in the evening and a garden next to the river. Breakfast was good with nut spread from the mill. Don’t miss the adjacent mill making nut oil. It is so interesting and the oil is for sale on site.

WiFi is poor but this seems to be a problem in France generally. No air con.
