Staff were lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean and well equipped with plenty of plugs, including USB ports in the room. They also have a kettle in the room, unlike a lot of French hotels, but there was also a coffee machine in the foyer/dining room. We were on motorbikes, and they allowed us to park in the courtyard, and our room (number 8) was directly above, so perfect for us.

The only real negative for us was that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. They would normally make pizza for any guests that want them, but were unable to during our visit. Fortunately, the pizzeria was open up the road as everywhere else was closed due to it being Bastille Day.

There was some mould in tile grouting in the bathroom and also on net curtain, but this didn't spoil our stay. Staff advised the room was due to be upgraded later this year. There is very limited lounge area in this hotel. there is only one table for playing cards etc, and limited sofa chairs. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss with the hot food, and there was no bread toaster to make any toast which would have been nice for putting scrambled egg on.

Nice quiet location beside the mill stream .. good free parking across the street. Dinner available at the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and courteous.

Room was a bit small. Not much bathroom counter space for 2 medicine kits. Hallway had smell of fresh carpet adhesive but was less noticable in room. Our room was part of a new addition and room was really without character - a shame in a quaint town. Hopefully the older part had some charm.

The staff were exceptional. Tom, Athena and Nichola are some of the most helpful hotel staff I've ever experienced. They helped me with my french language, recommended great places to eat at fair (non tourist) prices and even organised a return taxi journey for me for my evening out. To say these guys went the extra mile would be an understatement. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and had great views of the river and beautiful stone bridges. Parking was easy and convenient for the hotels front door. Breakfast was very good with a huge selection and again with great views of the river. All in all a truly amazing experience.

Nestled on the banks of the River Selune, the Best Western Le Moulin de Ducey charmed me from the moment I arrived. This beautifully converted mill offered a perfect blend of rustic character and modern comfort. My room boasted a delightful river view, the gentle murmur of the water a constant source of tranquility. The room itself was small, but spotless and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Free parking was also a big plus.

The location of the hotel really is wonderful on the riverbank. Our bedrooms overlooked the river and the sound of the cascading water was so relaxing. The bedrooms were newly renovated and spacious. The staff are very friendly. The 3-course dinner is very good and excellent value. Ducey is a lovely and tranquil town. Great stay.

Location: hotel in beautiful setting on a river, in a gorgeous little village. Comfortable room, ensuite with separate toilet. Breakfast included. Lunch and dinner available. Plenty of parking across road.

No air conditioning. Weather mild, so we didn't need it. We did have a fan. Some stained furniture in entrance - I wonder why they don't remove it. Bad first impression.

Perfect location for us, not too far from St Malo and our ferry home. Lovely little town although not much open. Hotel was very clean and modern, we had a nice spacious bright corner room for three. We booked for dinner and had a delicious meal (you order before dinner time if possible as all prepared and cooked to order). Really nice hotel and would stay again!

All was great although did have some noisy people in room above who kept us up a while - but not the hotels fault. Nothing I would complain about hotel wise - all good!

There is really nothing negative to say about this hotel. It looks great, everything was great and from this location you can reach a lot of sights by car easily. They serve dinner, but we decided to go to a different restaurant in the village, which turned out to be delicious. We had our breakfast here, which was also perfect.

Loved the room as it has comfortable beds, private bathroom and a view of the bridge and waterfall. Sound of the rushing water was a great backdrop to falling asleep; breakfast options were many; staff helpful. Perfect place to base your stay in the area;

Better communication in promoting restaurant options as only breakfast was mentioned, not dinner.
