Lovely little hotel. Room was compact but spotless and the staff were very accomodating, friendly and keen to help in any way possible. Also a very good price for what was provided. Good location too, a few minutes walk to the town centre.

The shower was good but a shower curtain would help. The entrance was locked when the restaurant shut in the evening therefore I could not access outside with my dog without using the emergency exit - I'm sure the staff would have advised had I thought to ask beforehand.

Ideal stop over on the way home from holiday. Staff was very welcoming ! THe hotel is very quiet. The room had air conditionning and was decorated with taste. The mattress was very confortable. Lovely to have a dinner in the garden, sitting under the trees. The local wine recommended by our hostess was excellent and the chef came out to speak with us. Breakfast was also in the garden with fresh viennoiseries, fresh fruit, bread, cereal, juice, coffee/tea. Excellent value for money.

The staff were exceptional.

Whilst the inside of the hotel was fine, the outside was tatty. Even the car park was untidy and overgrown. Had we turned up without a booking, we'd have gone somewhere else. Which is a shame, because rooms were clean and sizeable enough, and the staff were fab.

We stayed for a short stopover. The room wa simple but very clean, comfortable bed and the airco was a big plus. The staff (owner) was by himself and was amazing, very friendly and the food in the restaurant was also good!

Nice place with good sized rooms. We were not expecting much but in fact the Platanes is a proper, traditional hotel. Helpful staff. Restaurant has a chef who actually cooks stuff (not just a burger-heater!). Lovely garden at the rear where we sat in the cool of the trees and drank aperos.

Breakfast might have been a bit more generous - but I'm being picky here!

Great for a one night stay on our way through France. Basic room with dated bathroom but all clean and functional. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was lovely. Dogs were €5 each and very welcomed. Parking on site.

Breakfast was good with a choice of foods. Location - set in a small quiet village, the proprietors were very welcoming and friendly and the hotel retained the personal touch as described in the booking - hence selecting it for our stay. It also offered good access to main motorway for our onward journey.

Although the restaurant was advertised as open, it doesn't open at weekends. We did manage to get a pizza at Ginos, which was lovely

We met a number of the staff and they were all lovely and helpful. They actually made our stay memorable in what was otherwise a fairly standard hotel. It was great to find a typical French hotel with a restaurant. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well.

The big surprise was the wonderful evening meal, cooked by the manager/chef and served by his wife. We stayed there overnight on our way to Madrid, the ferry to Spain having been cancelled, and I am so pleased we found it as we would happily stay there again.
