Dinner with the group was great. Cedric is an amazing cook. Beautiful yard and garden, massive family estate home! Beautiful views of the garden from our room. Our room was very comfortable and we slept very well. We were able to visit and socialize with a nice group of people over a great meal cooked by Cedric.
We enjoyed our visit.

The atmosphere of staying at a rural/farmhouse dating from the 17th Century was a real treat. The property had a small lake and forested area. The 2 Border collie dogs quickly became best friends and were keen to accompany us as we wandered. The host made us dinner , which was delicious.
The bedroom was hot, but we couldn’t open the window because of mosquitoes. I guess old houses always have a bit of a damp smell too.

Everything about the place was magic. They really need to update there advertising as they’ve just built another accommodation for the Camino walkers and it’s absolutely glorious. They also welcome campers, which is a lovely added bonus 🫶🏼

beautiful house, comfortable beds, very accommodating hostess
there was some confusion: Booking.com booked us in, but the hostess was expecting a day off. So, she welcomed us but was not able to provide Demi-pension.

Great comfortable stay in the countryside. Marvelous for a wind-down, but also for a quick touch and go avoiding motels. highly recommended!
No complaints!

A good location and very peaceful although we were the only people staying. I’m not sure how it will be if the place is full? The host was very friendly, provided a lovely simple meal and made sure the heating was working because the night was very cold outside!
Sadly this is an old property that has not been maintained. Maybe because we were at the end of the season but it was not clean and although the host tried to solve the problem when we pointed it out, our room was inundated with flies and other insects which continued to appear throughout the night.

Quirky ancient family home for 400 years, last decorated in 1970s. Host entertained us with family history and culture of the area including some guitar serenades
Only one toilet for 3 rooms. Noisy staircases in old home

Very characterful old house. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Good supper. Beautiful dogs
Needs some updating. Breakfast was minimal. Carpets in the bedrooms.

The house was very old and interesting. Nice garden area. I'm sure it could be really lovely but it felt very haphazard the day we stayed.
The twin bedroom we were in was next to the only toilet in the house. The wall between our room and the toilet was very thin and we could hear everyone using the toilet. I think there were 10 people staying in the house and only one toilet and one bathroom within the house. Also, communication on booking.com from the gite owner regarding the possibility of an evening meal was non-existent. We carried pre-cooked food in our backpacks all day because we thought that there was no evening meal provision and no cooking facilities. However, there was a meal and all the other guests who presumably had booked through other means sat down together to enjoy it. There was also a kitchen which was not mentioned on Booking.com. Entry into the property was also quite late for walking the Camino. It was 17.00. luckily it was a sunny day so we were comfortable sitting in the garden.
