Clean, wooden rooms, very calm, good parking facilities, yummy breakfast, nice owner. It’s a good place for a weekend break on the lake/mountains if you spend most of your time in outdoor activities.
breakfast was not included in the room rate, but overall the experience was good.

Not far from the lake, short walk into town, private car park, reasonable price.
All fairly simple, small twin bedroom, small beds/shower/toilet, but I guess you get what you pay for and Gerardmer is popular.

The location is very good and the staff who work at the hotel are also very nice, especially the lady who works in the morning (sorry, but I forgot her name). The room was clean and smelling good. Didn't hear my neighbors but I think the hotel was not full.
The overall experience was good; it's a nice hotel. However, I think the hotel should reconsider its breakfast strategy. Charging 10 euros is too expensive for what is offered. Additionally, it's the first time I've stayed at a hotel where a coffee machine wasn't available during breakfast.
