Everything in this property just works! PARKING: Easy access to the address, safe, secure and available in front of the property. ENTRY / EXIT : Instructions were clear, concise and leaflets available on the table ROOM: Well-heated, clean mattresses and covers. There is a double deck bed too, should you have children or other adults with you. There were enough lights and sockets each bed area. KITCHEN: Fully equipped and clean. There is an oven, electronic stove, dishwasher as well as boiler and coffee machine. LIVING ROOM: Although there was a terrace, it was too cold to sit outside now, but the amazing lake view from the couch of the living room corner was in fact the highlight of our stay! (Sunrise and sunsets are not to be missed) LOCATION: A quick drive to the hiking start points as well as a 10min walk to the centre of the town for cafes and restaurants.

Nothing at all. We had a great stay in general. Just a comment but it was not a deal breaker but as we stay in the ground floor and of course, there were rooms above us, we hear the other guests walking around and moving but I believe they were very mindful after hours.

Location is relatively close to the city centre and you can walk down, it is on the side of the hill so keep it in mind that you have to go back up. Since it's on the side of the hill the view of the lake was amazing, especially since we had nice weather we really enjoyed spending time on the terrace. Everything was clean and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen.

The apartment is nice and the view was stunning. The lady who met us was lovely and very helpful. Lac de Longemer a few km's away is gorgeous for sunbathing,swimming and a picnic

Not really a criticism,but the crockery and cutlery could do with an update. Also, the Wifi drops out badly at certain times,this shouldn't really be happening in 2024

The fully-equipped kitchen was appreciated as well as the balcony with a beautiful view of the lake of Gerardmer. The fact that the parking stall for the car was next to the apartment was very practical.

Unfortunately, we had to wait one hour for someone to come to the Reception although we arrived at the right time. No one answered my voice message and it was only when other guests arrived did we get someone on the phone. Then the person forgot us as we waited by the apartment for her to open it. This was not good.

amazing apartment! nice location (5-7 min by foot to the city center), wonderful view. we were living on the ground floor, but didn't hear any noise from tenants 1 floor above, so apartment is really quiet. Also it has all that needed for a long stay - washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, hair dryer etc. A lot of space to store equipment or clothes, 2 toilets, spacious bathroom etc. Nothing to improve! Also, owners let us check out later with no extra fee, we were very appreciated for that.

well, one thing was disappointing a little bit. Owners didn't accept any language except French, but we heard that they understand English. We had English-, German-, Spanish- and Russian speaking guys, but owners even didn't try to use any language. Seems like it was more about principles, but not about hospitality. We had to use sms + google translate. It's not a critical problem, for sure, but a tricky one anyway

The view from the balcony/terrace was what made this appartment exceptional. Panoramic views of the lake, mountains and town lights meant something to look at all the time.

The WiFi was very weak and often dropped off. There could have been a few more kitchen utensils i.e. spatula to turn fried eggs, cook pancakes. Quite a steep walk up hill back from village.

The châlets are located in a quiet area on a slope above town, yet it takes just around 10 minutes to reach the lake or downtown by foot. The appartement is not that big for four people, but they make very clever use of the available space and it never felt crammed. The wooden porch is a delight, the kitchen is well equiped, everything is very clean and the price is unbelievable in comparison.

The WIFI works fine, but may not meet everyone's highspeed-standarts.

Superb location with a fantastic outlook from the balcony. Liked the simplicity and cleanliness of the chalet. Very close to town.

It was perfect for two…tight for six people. Would have liked a shower rather than a bath and shower head but not a big issue.

The chalets looked very beautiful both inside and outside and were also extremely clean, comfortable and well-equiped. The owner was very helpful and friendly and allowed us a late check-out without extra charges, which was really kind.

There was no catering possibility for these chalets.

Fantastic views of the town and lake, and only a short (but very steep!) walk from the town centre. Well-equipped kitchen and a generally well presented property. Plenty of parking (free).

Lacking some small details that would take it to the "excellent" level - nowhere to hang a towel in the toilets, no bins in the toilets (not great for two ladies!), not enough toilet paper or dishwasher tablets provided for a week's stay (we had to buy extra), they want you to clean at the end of the stay but no bleach or similar provided, just washing up liquid. The wifi was quite poor.
