We arrived in time for a busy, busy weekend! Fully booked! But our host kept everything running smoothly! Breakfast was a typical French breakfast of croissants, baguettes, fruit, cheeses, yogurt, and coffee or tea. Our room was kept clean and in order by the housekeeping staff. Everything we wanted to see was in walking distance from the hotel. I highly recommend L'Ex-Voto! Very close by, excellent service and great prices. They call themselves a brasserie, but their cook makes it so much more!

Parking is limited, so be prepared to do a little car shuffling as needed. Maybe you get a parking spot on the premises, maybe not. What we made use of the 1 hour free parking at the Carrefour across the street, then moved the car as soon as possible.

Great location in Honfleur - supermarket across the road and walking distance to the main harbour area and restaurants. Old style decoration which we really liked. Friendly helpful staff. We had a triple room which was really specious and room for the crib we bought for our 3 month old. Comfy and clean. Good breakfast. 2 fans provided in the room.

No air con just fans provided - not necessarily a problem but it just happened to be 34 degrees one of the nights we stayed so it was extremely hot in the room. No lift - again not necessarily a problem just something to consider. We were on second floor and had a pram and crib to carry up and down. Free parking on site is very limited and first come first serve. When we arrived it was full so we paid for parking nearby but it wasn’t very expensive. Second day we managed to get a space on site.

On-site parking was very appreciated - but get there early to secure a spot, as the area can fill up quickly. 4. Location, location!! We were right in the midst of everything! A short stroll to the waterfront and the many eateries! 5. The room decor did kind of make me feel like I was visiting Grandma, but everything was very clean and well presented.

1. An electric kettle in the room would be appreciated. 2. The shower over the bath could do with a shower curtain. Not everyone likes a bath, so trying to shower without water going everywhere was difficult.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel La Diligence in Honfleur. The room was charming and spotless, with tasteful Normandy-style decor and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed was firm and cozy, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere despite being so close to the town center. The private parking at the hotel was a real bonus. The location is ideal—just a short stroll from the supermarket, Old Port, and many of Honfleur’s best restaurants, galleries, and boutiques. It was so convenient to explore the town on foot

Nothing. All was perfect

The location of the hotel was just a few minutes walk to the centre of Honfleur. Our room was in the annexe to the hotel and was full of charm and very spacious. There was a big garden full of interesting wood sculptures and the whole hotel was very interesting and 'quirky'. There was a good buffet breakfast.

Can't think of anything we didn't like. Perhaps the breakfast room was a little on the small side for the amount of rooms in the hotel but the staff worked hard to clear tables and reset.

Location and breakfast

Breakfast could start at 7-7:30 for early risers. Background music could be either French kwown internationally or just instrumental. Having someone chanting a song while I’m having breakfast is not my idea of a quiet moment … Staff could know a bit more about how to get to tourist attractions like Etretat. It is so easy to just say: “Take 122 to Le Havre and then 509 to Etretat … Check schedules” They could be more mindful to tourism and customer service. But thanks, anyway.

We were given an upgrade to a superior room in the adjoining Residence that was exceptional. Cannot fault the location, the staff, the breakfast or the level of comfort. Fantastic place to stay and only a few minutes walk from the stunning harbour. Great use of classical furniture in a very stylish and typically French grand building

The bathroom was really luxurious - my only criticism is that there was no bracket for the shower head on the wall, which was a shame since the shower itself was fantastic!

Hotel La Diligence is perfectly located for exploring Honfleur on foot. The breakfasts were excellent, including sliced meats, a very good selection of cheeses and hard-boiled eggs, aside from the usual croissants and baguettes. The breakfast room was very cosy. The concierge was very pleasant and helpful. And the cleaning staff were exceptional: clean towels every day, fresh sheets every other day. It was nice to have private parking. For touring, Rouen was an hour and a half in one direction, Bayeux an hour and a half in the other direction. I would stay there again.

We payed for one of the biggest rooms and were gratefull we did.We were in a seperate part away from the main hotel.Room was big and comfortable, had everything we needed.Bathroom was big and so was the bath.Bed was big and comfortable.Heating was plentiful and warmed the big room up nicely. Big fridge which was handy for some cheese and ham.Big supermarket opposite was a touch. Location of the hotel is spot on,very short walk to the harbour and everything Honfleur has to offer.Find the small fish market to the right of the harbour,cracking plates of various shellfish and fish to try with a nice glass of wine and thet don't pull your pants down with the prices. Breakfast was ample(small area to eat)not a massive choice but we weren't left hungry,lots of free parking in and around the hotel.

No beer on tap,warm bottles of heineken was the choice and ran out of red wine sunday evening,out of wine,in France. Sure there's a law against that.

We have stayed here several times before, location is great just a few minutes walk from the harbour. There is a car park but this was full when we arrived, but we found free parking up the road because we knew where to go. I paid a bit extra for a larger room and was pleased with it. We had a good time and we will be back.

We had a few issues with the TV but they could not be resolved as it was the weekend. The decor in the room is a little dated but the location of the hotel makes up for that.
