Rooms are much nicer then photos ..staff don't speak much English but are helpful and nice . Pool and outdoor area and hotel very clean .we had kids with us and the restaurant was expensive for feeding then but there is a bakery and pizza grill (which is delicious)across the road ..the hotel is also 5 mi walk from tram which takes you straight to Nantes in 15 mins .there is also a supermarket and shopping retail park with mcdonalds 5 min walk from hotel ...all the things I wanted to know before I booked .pool is small but clean and also deep 5'9 so I had to goninto pool with kids everytime as they couldn't stand in it .overall lovely 4 star hotel would definately return except for the deposit issue of €150

Beware €150 deposit, which I still have not recieved back 3 days after leaving, would not accepted the €150depsoti in cash also very very annoying. Restaurant very nice but expensive

We were traveling and it was an overnight stay. It’s located by a busy road and not far from the ring road, easy to find and the windows double glazing was sufficient to make our room quiet. We travel lots and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Plenty of secure parking, very large clean modern hotel. Good reception experience, excellent large spotless clean room with good bathroom etc. We ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was excellent, with service to match. Good breakfast, wide choice and prompt service. We came away saying that we would stay again and at the price it was really good value.

loved the fact the pool has a cover so the children can play in any weather. we had a lovely refurbished room as well, it looks like they are refurbishing all of the rooms at the moment and they move your booking into one of the new rooms where possible! the best part of all was the waiter Akram! what a gentleman. he could not do enough for you. so genuine and kind and considerate. his mother raised him very well and she should be proud! my kids absolutely adored him and said he deserves a big pay rise!!

the sun beds don’t recline so you can’t lay flat which is a little bit annoying. you can’t lay on your front on these beds or lie flat on your back. I feel like some low volume music outside is also needed for a bit of atmosphere

Restaurant was wonderful. Check in was somewhat odd. The receptionist wanted to write down my credit card number in full which I refused even though I had paid for the room in advance and had deposited an extra €150 for security. Two pillows were coated in plastic protective layer which was odd and meant they could not be used. Very good hotel. Would be excellent if teething issues with check in and pillows were sorted.

It was a nice surprise to find that when we were checking in to find that the Irish Rugby team were staying there for their games against Tonga for the Rugby World Cup. The atmosphere in the hotel weals amazing and the me staff were super friendly. Location was perfect with plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The bar was quite busy due to the Rugby and it took a while to be served however it didn’t spoil the expectant I’m sure it’s not always like that.

Comfy rooms, location and pool

Sauna was under maintenance for 2 to 3 weeks so we didn't have the chance to enjoy it. A bit disappointing because we've had the staff by phone prior to our arrival and they didn't mention anything about the sauna being refurbished during our stay.

All round excellent staff and facilities ,food was of excellent standard. All the staff were véry helpful and when we spoke in our school boy french they assisted us by getting an English member of staff to understand what we required. 10/10

We didn't hire a car . But the local train station wasn't far. So there was nothing we didn't like about the hotel .

Fantastic pit stop for the night. Great Air con, lovely room. Pool was really nice. Good breakfast.

Not much not to like. Some more basic meal offerings would have been nice, like pasta or pizza. The pool isn’t heated and the cover though practical takes away from the atmosphere round the pool.

This hotel is such good value for money and we are surprised it isn't 5 stars! The room was exceptional, the breakfast was superb and the swimming pool is great too. We ate at the restaurant twice for evening meals as we enjoyed the food and wine so much. The location is excellent and perfect for use as a stopover when travelling further south like we were.

Beds could be comfier.

Family rooms are spacious, it was great to have a ground floor room with easy access to the pool.

Your outdoor area is a huge opportunity for you. the windows all around the pool could do with a really good clean. play some music, get waiters outside serving cocktails and bar snacks. You could create a great vibe out here if you gave it some attention. we thought it was quite silly that our children couldn’t eat their kids meals outside by the pool when we ordered them and we had to get them out of the pool and bring them inside to the restaurant to eat. Also - we went for breakfast once during our stay. it was disappointing. the hot trays were not filled up during that time and staff were clock watching to 10am when breakfast was finishing.
