The receptionist was absolutely brilliant, smiling gentleman. Our questions were answered. We felt very welcomed there. Also, we had to extend our stay as our flight was cancelled and had no problem with that either. Basic room with shower and wc. We were fine with our room as we really needed only where to stay overnight as in the day we explored beautiful Paris. Overall, everything was like in the pictures.

I wouldn't say we didn't like it, but some refurbishment in the bathroom and room might be a good idea. Anyway, the price for the stay was fair. WiFi sometimes lost connection, and TV, not all the time, has been working great.

Beautiful little hotel, excellent hygiene, bed linen changed regularly, enjoying the view of the Parisian streets. When I entered this hotel, I smelled whitewash, which means that they are really paying attention.You even have a TV in the room, and the bed is so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The hotel is built in an old style (but again I note that everything is very clean), which creates an authentic atmosphere of Paris. The hotel also has a garden, ideal for waking up in the morning. The location is really great, because you have metro line 3, just 3 minutes away and all the central parts of Paris are very close. The staff is so kind, whatever I didn't understand, they helped me, especially the very kind guy Malek helped me find various places, because nearby you have a lot of cafes, markets and everything you need. The warmest recommendations for this hotel! I know that when I come to Paris I will stay at the Hotel Chevalier again.

For those who are demanding and look at every detail, I don't know why you write all kinds of reviews, because for the money you paid, which is really not expensive, you get a lot of quality, at least twice the price, and the price in my opinion is very low. I think a lot of people are very ungrateful

Malek at the front desk was an amazing human being. He helped us with a baggage mixup at the airport and was always helpful. We even saw him helping someone else repair their bicycle. A great place!

The room was fine, if a bit out of order. One of the lights didn’t work but other than that it was clean and served it’s purpose well.

Great, diligent staff on reception. When we needed cork screw, we get wine glasses too. When you want to order breakfast on that day 1am, heading from city, you will get it👌🏻. Building has squeaky wooden floors, corridors and stairs. But we don't care. It just fact🤷🏼‍♂️ we were glad to be there and having bus to La defenses and metro to the city close enough. Few streets(2-4).👌🏻

Located in a very nice area with lots of shops, restaurants and markets, close to metro and bus to central Paris. Staff was very nice and helpful. It is very basic but exactly what you would expect for the price. Quiet at night. I would stay here again.

You can hear the water running through the pipes. The outside shower was a bit of challenge. Otherwise very much ok.

Room was fair. Had a wardrobe, table and chair including a reasonably sized T.V. I loved the window as it was facing right in the road where I could see the people and vehicles while enjoying a cool breeze. Metro and restaurants are a stone throw away.

Bathroom and toilet are quite small, anyways, time spent in bathroom is not too much to warrant bigger space.

Helpulf, available and friendly staff. Much appreciated. Excellent french breakfast, with super fresh baguettes and croissants. highly recommended to get the breakfast there. The blackout curtains were of good quality, I've slept deeply thanks to that, no daylight woke me up. TV and Wifi work well. Good maids, job well done, the place is pretty clean. The metro is a short walk from the hotel, direct access to paris downton with line 3.

The hotel is clean, but it's clearly in need of "professional" renovation.... the basic maintenance for plumbing and painting is either not done (flaking paints, derelict furniture) or looks like it was done in a hurry on the cheap (pipes and conduits). No hooks to hang towels in the bathroom or the bedroom...

We liked the hotel, the staff is very polite. The bed is comfortable. In general, everything is clean, but the room is tired and the toilet is very small. Ideal option if you are not very picky and plan to walk, not sit in the room. Good location, close to metro.

It is in a convenient location, near a metro station, and really a very low price. I only met one member of staff, but he was also great - very considerate and helpful.

Sure it was not an amazing hotel, but considering the location and price the only thing I would consider fair to complain about was the cleanliness of the shower.
