I stayed here only because there were no hotel rooms available in Lille itself. Having worried that it would be too far out of the way, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was able to get to the hotel from the centre (20 mins via the tram from Lille Flandres). It is in a leafy neighbourhood and a very pleasant alternative to staying in the middle of the city, and better than numerous hotels there. Really enjoyed the breakfast, which was brought to my room and made for a pleasant change compared to the buffet breakfasts available in most hotels.

The owner gave us a very warm welcome and provided a lot of information and made sure to answer all our stupid questions. She also asked us in great detail what we wanted for breakfast, which was great and definitely worth the additional cost. Sometimes when properties say there's a possibility for charging an EV, they mean that there is a public charger somewhere in the town. In this case the charger is actually on the hotel property, right in their own parking lot (of which the gate is locked at night by the way, for security). Filtered water is provided free of charge in the lobby, which is great because the tap water is a bit smelly. The location is good, it's in a pretty quiet place outside the city center but it's very easy and cheap to get to downtown Lille by tram (again, with great instructions from the host). The rooms are good. The bed is maybe a bit firm for some people's taste but we liked it. There is a little table right outside each room. Unfortunately it was cold and a bit rainy but with good weather it's probably great to have the breakfast, which is served to the room at the desired time, there.

The walls are a bit thin; even though the hallway was pretty quiet at night you clearly hear everything going on out there. The bathroom is clean and functional but not very new.

The 12 euro breakfast was worth it. Very friendly staff, located in a quiet place but still well connected to the centre. and close to quite a few restaurants and grocery store. The entire stay felt very relaxing and comfortable

Super clean, the location is good, nice neighborhood, very near a tram that connects to the city center. Has supermarkets and restaurants near by. The owners are very kind and helpful.

The rooms were small and a little dated, but most of all, probably because of the building's age, there was a metal clunk sound that woke us up almost every night, probably coming from the water pipes or the heating system. Other than that, the correlation between price, location, comfort is correct.

Room 2 is not big but very cozy. The room is exceptionally clean. You have amanities in the bathroom. The bed is very comfortable. The beakfast was reved to the room and the quality of bakery (Croissant) was exeptional.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a great place for an overnight stay and I would definitely stay here again.
