The property is really close to Vieux Lille and Lille Flanders. 10/15mins by feet or 2 mins with the tram. my mom went there with her sister and they enjoyed the comfort, form the bed to the bathroom, she enjoyed it all! the staff is very friendly, they proposed us for breakfast, but we said no because we had already planned to leave at 6 am to travel somewhere else the day after. the aesthetic was on top! i really liked the colors and the decorations. i thought it was a nice idea to have all the employee’s photos from when they were little all hung up on the walls! so cute! the kitchen looked so good! i’m just sad we couldn’t try it!

Convenient location, parking for a reasonable price, comfortable beds, quiet room overlooking a park in the square, decent shower. We needed to be close to the train station, to take a train for a day trip, and it was very straightforward. Lille is a lovely city to visit and this was a great value for money base.

Towels were a bit thin, and no hand/ hair towel, but that’s just a personal preference- they were fine to use. Not a personal dislike as there were two of us but the walk from the city would be a bit lonely at night. That said, there was a bus stop close to the hotel so I assume it isn’t necessary to walk if you prefer not.

The room was clean and everything was well maintained. I’d also like to point out that the room itself was quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and the bed linen was fresh and clean. It was a bit chilly in the room, but there was an air conditioner — we probably just didn’t figure out how to use it properly. It wasn’t a big issue though, since we only stayed in the room to sleep. The room had everything we needed: a kettle (a bit old, but functional), tea and coffee, creamer, a hairdryer, towels, and so on. At check-in, we were welcomed by a friendly lady who registered us quickly and everything went smoothly. The location of the hotel is excellent — within a 10-minute walk there’s a shopping center and a train station, which made it easy for us to continue our travels. That was actually the main reason we chose this hotel. The Wi-Fi was very good. I’ve recently started paying more attention to safety, so I’ll mention that there was no safe in the room and no visible surveillance cameras on the floor. However, there were many cameras at the hotel entrance, which gave a sense of general security. Overall, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. If I ever come back to this city, I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Staff welcoming and helpful. Private parking was easy although some underground spots are difficult to get into! The room was big enough with an excellent quality mattress and cotton bedding. Clean room hot shower and quiet room . Very good Breakfast had a variety of options from fruit and muesli , yoghurts , cheese and hot buffet breakfast . The dining area was clean and well laid out with enough room to walk around .

How to get out of the car park with your car wasn’t very clear. I had to leave the car at the gate and go into reception for a ticket

David, Cheryl, and the other members of the staff were incredible. It was a little disappointing that none of of the rooms have a fridge since we needed to store breastmilk for our baby. But the staff really stepped up and let us use the hotel fridge all 4 days we were there. The food was also very yummy. Thanks!!

The aforementioned lack of a fridge in the room was unfortunate. Plus, during our last night the thermostat locked itself and we weren’t able to turn on the air conditioning. But we called the front desk and they fixed it very quickly.

The staff were amazing. The bar area (check-in) was clean and well staffed. The staff let me practice my limited French when ordering. Breakfast was great with many choices (Breads, fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs, sausages, bacon, coffee, tea, juice, etc). Area was super close to transit, approximately one block. The area was not in the centre of the city though. Nice park across the street. The room were small but cute, seemed very clean. Bed was comfy and loved all the green (colour) in the space. The bathroom has a shower only which I liked.

My only complaint was that there was visible mold in the shower in the bathroom. Looks like it needs to be updated and cleaned a little better.

We had a really nice stay at Campanile. The staff was nice, the beds were confortable, the neighborhood was quiet. We slept really well, you don't hear any noises from the other guests. The bathtub was a nice surprise. We walked to Lille, it's a 15-20 minutes walk to the centrum of Lille.

The pillows were too soft, there was no toilet brush (apparently they don't allow them in the bathroom anymore since the Covid pandemic) and the carpet was pretty old. The breakfast was not very varied, you don't get any fresh vegetables or too many options when it comes to cheese. The fruit salad was sour, maybe a few days old. Except if you're vegan, you'll find something to eat, you don't have to worry about that.🙂

I enjoyed my stay in Campanile, I speak a little French and they were incredibly patient with the language barrier and spoke good English themselves. Checking in was a smooth process and the room was clean, modern, and just what we needed. It was well-kept and dinner was easy also (and the best cocktails I've had in France).

Single pillows were too thin so unfortunately wasn't the comfiest and the shower not having a door did mean the floor got slightly wet. There was a slight smell and parking charges were very high but I can't criticize anything else, it was a great stay.

Modern hotel, all staff friendly and helpful, buffet dinner a little pricey. Breakfast good, Frankfurters rubbery, but we were last in. Room minimalist, comfy bed. Close to Romarin metro stop and Le Bistro du Romarin who do excellent light lunch.

Shower a bit feeble

Very nice new, spacious and clean room. We also liked the fact that they had a kettle with coffee and tea, and that we could refill our water bottles with filtered cold water every day. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice and quiet area with a lot of free parking. Very near a tram station also. Another thing that we liked was the policy that if you skipped the cleaning of your room for a day, they treated you with a free drink (wine, beer, soft drink etc!) each day.

The bed mattress could be a bit better but it was ok!
