We had a stopover here before carrying on with our journey. The place is ideally located close to the World famous Castle of Chambord and Blois is not too far off for restaurants either. We arrived in the evening during a heatwave and the place was so refreshing inside. It reminded me of my grand mother house. Really enjoyed our short stay here, breakfast was great and would highly recommend this place to any traveller passing by.

The place is beautiful. Full of character and spacious and comfortable. The dinner was excellent as was the breakfast. The hosts were delightful . Personally I would not stay here without booking for dinner as you would need a decent car ride to find anywhere else to eat.

Unfortunately there was a hornets nest above our window so we had to close all the windows and it was hot. More unfortunately 4 had already got in so I had to try to catch them before being able to sleep and my friend was rather upset. The host was unaware until we pointed them out in the morning.

Very quiet and rural and perfect for visiting local chateaus nearby. The accomodation was very clean, comfortable beds, lovely bathroom and places to sit outside including by the pond in loungers. Excellant evening meals cooked by the owners.

Everything! The hosts were so welcoming. The little cottage we stayed in was perfect with everything you could ever need. I loved the decor and I found lots of inspiration around as we're currently renovating a house in France and we got so many wonderful ideas. We had an evening meal there the first night and the food was divine. Great location for exploring the area , Chambord was only 10 minutes away as is Blois. We will definitely go back to stay again.

Nothing it was perfect for us.

Breakfast was really good, included fresh crusty bread, cheese, boiled egg, ham and tea or coffee. Very quiet location. You don’t get a room, more of a two storey house, with lounge and dining area on the ground floor and bedroom and bathroom on the first floor.

Very charming location and the host was wonderful and I loved all his animals! Also, the homemade yogurt was AWESOME

There was no shower...there was a bathtub with a hose you could hold over your head...since it was only one night, not a big deal, but more than one night, it would have been a problem for us.

Clean and very nice accommodation, with good beds We had a nice dinner with local products, and hosts were very friendly. The surrounding is beautiful and calm, and not far from the Loire and its castles

Stay was only for 1 night 'en route' to the south - next time better a longer stay :-)

The house was in the farming areas and we saw some cute animals raising their. The house was very good maintained with very nice decorations. The on-site parking lot was great and very convenient. The property was well planned with 5-6 one story houses

We asked the host to warn up the croissants he prepared for the breakfast. He just simply refused to help with many meaningless reasons. He lacks of the good service mind that the people who in this business should have

Lovely location with large gardens, Sun loungers and tables to sit at outside. Pond full of frogs. Pet pigs, sheep, chickens, geese, and a vegetable patch (used for dinner). Dogs and cats inside (although we didn't see much of them). Beautiful establishment. Each chambre has its own private entrance and outdoor seating. Converted old farm buildings with character features and also really clean and comfortable. Friendly and welcoming hosts who were happy to speak English to us when needed. We had dinner there. Very good food and a fun time talking with the other guests (our limited French and their limited English). Super breakfast with homemade yoghurt, jams, fresh croissants and bread, cheese, eggs, jambon sec, coffee, Chocolat chaud. The hosts were very engaging and it was nice to hear some history about the place. Good location for visiting the Loire chateaux and also as a stopover when travelling through France. I would highly recommend.

If I had to fault anything, it would be that the pillows were quite thin. This is a very personal opinion!

Spacious room in a lovely setting. Good location, only 10mins from Chateau Chambord. Friendly hosts.

The bedding smelt of smoke, like it had been dried close to a bonfire. No catering facilities in the room. WiFi is a bit patchy / slow
