A lovely place - lovely location, right by the river, only a short drive to Chambord. Owners are very helpful. Cannot park directly in the property but a free car parking area is only a short walk away (you can drive into the property to unload/load). Great swimming pool in a lovely garden Good size room with nice bathroom. There is a kitchen available for use so you can prepare your own (simple) evening meals. Large fridge/freezer also available for use. Very good breakfast served in communal kichen.

Everything was perfect. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the apartment. We had a nice kitchen on the ground floor where André served a delicious breakfast everyday with fresh fruits and homemade yogurts. André, Nicole and their family (including their cute dogs) are wonderful hosts. The location is perfect, very close to Chambord and nested in a beautiful village. The swimming pool was just perfect after a day in the heat.

When you have been out and about an the heat of the day, visiting the beautiful chateaux of the Loire Valley, getting back to the peace of the Manoir Le Bout Du Pont, was like an oasis of calm. With a lovely swimming pool in the garden to cool off in. Large comfy rooms, with a great shower and roomy bathroom, with separate toilet. Every morning there for us were fresh croissants, mixed confiture, pan au chocolate, baguettes, fruit, eggs, butter sand sugar, tea and coffee. All lovely and fresh. There is a great kitchen to store food and drinks in the fridge freezer too. Also there are barbeque facilities, which we used a couple of times. All in all a fabulous holiday, a big thankyou to Andre and Nicole for a wonderful stay. We all would highly recommend, and would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay with Andre and Nicole immensely. We rented their family apartment: First floor: kitchen with more than enough space for our family of four, could easily fit 6+. Second floor: two single beds and a half bath (toilet/sink). Third floor: queen bed, nice sized shower and toilet. Both bedrooms had windows with shades and both operated with a flip of an electric switch. The Wifi worked well. The laundry was in a shared space. I had planned to do our laundry, but when Nicole heard about our tight schedule, she offered to do our laundry for a small fee. This worked out extremely well and I will be eternally grateful for the time this gave us. Breakfast is brought into your kitchen in the morning at a time you arrange with Andre and Nicole the night before. They have several offerings. We enjoyed their homemade yogurt and toppings, croissants, fresh baguettes, juice, coffee, fresh fruit, and more. Their garden is a beautiful and backs to a small river with bridge crossing. It's a stunning place to sip coffee and soak in the morning sun. While I had our tourist plans all mapped out, there was a binder of very helpful information for those who make plans as they go. When planning our trip, I chose this location primarily because of it's proximity to Chambord, but I hope to return to here regardless of what attractions in the Loire Valley we plan to see - the hosts and accommodations are that nice!

It had a very homely, relaxed feel to it. The owners were delightful. The pool and outside area were lovely to relax in when the sun was shining. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. The children loved the pool, and also the very friendly dog and the cat. The breakfast was fantastic!!!

The stairs were quite steep for little children and there was only a loo in the children’s room. It also had an automatic light which was problematic for middle of night and not waking them up. This set up would not really work for 2 couples/non family group. It says there is on-site parking but it’s actually over the road in some village parking bays. It was fine as close and quiet village but meant we had to unload a full car.

First time at this property, we had a wonderful stay. Host were adorable and really helpful. The place we rented was spotless and everything in the description was accurate. We even got a chance to use the swimming pool which was much appreciated. We will definitely recommend this property to our Family and Friends. Idéal location close to Chambord castle, Cheverny Castle and Blois.

Fantastic place to stay. Well equipped and comfortable. The breakfasts were gorgeous, home made and home grown produce with fresh croissants. Lovely shared pool. Would recommend.

Wonderfully welcoming staff. Great breakfast, nice space for the kids to walk around and play with bicycles. Very convenient location to visit Chateau de Chambord

Quiet and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was amazing and the hosts were lovely. The manor was close to Chambord and all other chateaus. The hosts speak French only so translate apps really helped
