Excellent stay! Within close proximity to Blois and the Loire Valley castles, the hotel is located in a quiet area. The yard is very nicely arranged and the pool was a great bonus. Big rooms with very comfortable beds - sole complaint was the lack of AC. The host was very nice and accommodating and the breakfast was amazing.

This is a perfect place if you want to explore nearby castles of Chambord, Cheverny or Blois. But there are many places around you could stay to be close to them. Les Clos des Ormeaux has its unique charm and hospitality spirit thanks to its owner Ms Ode. Simply royal look and feel! Highly recommended.

The appartment and the breakfast were outstanding. The owner is lovely and very very helpful. We especially enjoyed the garden and pool to relax after our sightseeing tours. A perfect 4 day stay for us in the Bloire region.

Charming host, delicious breakfast, great amenities and location (15 min drive to Chambord, Cheverny & Blois). The swimming pool is a welcome addition during warm summer days.

Perhaps a soft boiled egg with breakfast would have been a nice addition.

Beautiful large house in its own private walled garden. The owner is very welcoming and was available if we had any questions or needs. Our room was lovely and bright with a view over the garden and pool. Breakfast was delicious bread from the local boulangerie and homemade jams. Yum.

The earliest you could eat breakfast is 9am so if you need to leave at 8 you need to accommodate yourself. You are not allowed to take a shower after 10 pm.

The establishment is just a few minutes outside of Blois. The owner is just great. She is very friendly and helpful. She helped us find restaurants just nearby that were excellent. The room was excellent and very spacious. The room was completely renovated with modern facilities. Breakfast was the best that we have had in France.   The owner showed us other rooms that she offers. There are very large suites there with like 2 rooms that can accommodate families.  There is also a  very large shopping complex just a few minutes to the south.

Very clean and hostess was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious.
