This was an old very charming house/mansion well built and completely renovated that offered great comfort in the very spacious rooms. I particularly enjoyed the host, the owner of this beautiful mansion, Catherine, who made our stay particularly heart-warming with her excellent food. I addition to breakfast we had dinner at her house because we wanted to have a very special meal as we were celebrating 3 birthdays that day. Catherine made it very festive and impressive with her own outstanding recipes. If we will pass again through Blois we will not hesitate to stay there again. Catherine, thank you again for having us!

Cathrine is a very welcoming and present host. We don’t speak French , so she very kindly used translator to tell us more about area and gave us some lovely recommendations. We had two rooms to our use which were very clean and spacious. There is a parking on a premises and we could securely store our bicycles in a separate barn on site. Breakfast was traditional French with some fresh jam, baguettes and croissants. We had also the opportunity to try some local cheeses as well. Thank you for a lovely and welcoming stay !!!

No doors between the bathroom/toilet and the room , only the piece of material to separate those.

Charming, zany extrovert hostess. Very generous of spirit, kind and a natural hostess. When you enter her house you enter her world and she relishes the presence amd company of her guests. She is an excellent cook. The house is old, 16th century in parts and picturesque.

House is in the middle of recent developments and we did not find it easily despite GPS. You need to like the close attention of the owner, Wolsely Lodge style. Fine by us but it could intrude if you are a sensitive soul.

Our host was the best. She warmly welcomed us to a nice breakfast. Serene and picturesque grounds.

The only issue was the space was a bit cool at night, there was no heat available in the bedroom, and provisions for linen were lacking. After a few nights in both hotels and bnb lodging the linen issue seems to be different all across France, as compared to “American style”. I suspect if we had noted the need before bedtime our charming host would have resolved it.

Our stay at Catherine's house was pure perfection! Amazing house renovated very tastefully in every detail, very large suite with comfortable bed, chairs and very convenient private entrance/exit out into the courtyard. Catherine is a very generous hostess, she prepared cook-to-order eggs for every breakfast, introduced us to various local breads, yogurts and cheeses, serving a different variety every day. Catherine made us feel as the most welcome guests in her house, truly a spectacular experience! House is located right next to Blois, Chambord and Cheverny which proved to be the best location for exploring eastern part of the Loire Valley.

Seriously, everything was just perfect, I don't think anything at all could've been better.

Exceptional hostess and hospitality with delicious home made food within a beautiful garden setting and an even more beautiful home. Would have liked to give a rating of 10 but on leaving found blood spots on sheeting and mattress protector. Such a shame.

Nothing to dislike except no door separating bedroom from bathroom just a curtain, maybe it's a French thing but not for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Closerie des Laudieres, Catherine is a marvellous host, right from the welcome drinks to home cooked breakfast all was perfect and would highly recommend for authentic French hospitality.

Probably nitpicking here, but we couldn’t completely lock off our room from the main part of the house, it’s probably super safe and the external door was secured anyway.

Beautiful and peaceful magical place, amazing, helpful and kind host Catherine! Great and wonderful! Homemade delicious breakfast! Private and safe parking! Must see and feel! Highly recommend! Closed to many castles and everything you need! Thank you, Catherine! I wish and hope we will come back to you one day!

Everything was so amazing!

Catherine is an amazing host, a wonderful person to talk to and an excellent cook. The place was perfect for us, our room was spacious, the garden and the flowers were beautiful, and the cats were very friendly - our son was so happy he could spend time with them :)

We had a lovely stay at this cosy B&B with my husband and our son in August. Catherine is very pleasant, attentive and kind hostess. Her house is beautifully decorated, she has good taste, and it’s located in a quiet neighborhood. The location is perfect base to explore the local attractions, close to Blois town and some famous castles. Catherine can also advise on good restaurants and boulangerie in the area. We were also able to have our own lunch in her nice garden, that was very convenient. Overall it felt like we stayed at the house of a good acquaintance and received a warm welcome. Highly recommend this place.
