We had a truly exceptional stay at Demeure des Cordeliers in Blois. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the beauty and elegance of the place. The room was wonderfully designed—stylish yet cozy, with thoughtful touches that showed great attention to detail. Every element, from the lighting to the choice of materials and colors, created a warm and refined atmosphere that made us feel instantly at home. Each morning, we were treated to a fabulous breakfast, a true highlight of our stay. The spread was generous and delicious, featuring an assortment of fresh breads, cheeses, and fruits—but what really stood out were the delightful home-baked cakes. Every day brought a new treat, lovingly prepared and served with care. It felt like waking up to something special and personal. Above all, what made our experience unforgettable was our host, Stéphane. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, always ready with a helpful suggestion or a warm smile. His passion for hospitality is evident in every detail of the guesthouse, and his genuine warmth made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors

small hotel ,3/4 rooms i think ! You can see the love and attention to detail put in to the renovation, all well thought out ! Big room ,big bathroom with great shower,quality fittings ! Bed comfortable, good bed linen ,plenty sockets ,location is perfect for us ,walkable everywhere in the centre within 5/10 minutes,private secure parking much appreciated! Breakfast in the garden was lovely! Very helpful personable host with great recommendations,spoke v good English,so there were no misunderstandings with our stilted Franglais ! 100% stay again if in the area .

The room and bathroom was very spacious, beautifully decorated and matched the splendour of the property. There is private secure parking which is a blessing in a city. Stephane is an exceptional host, who showed us places of interest and recommended restaurants on a map of Blois he provided. He even booked us a restaurant for our 2nd night as our French speaking is limited. Breakfast was exceptionally good, plentiful and varied. We ate on our 2nd day, in the garden where the ambience was casual and relaxed. We will come back without a doubt.

We loved the spacious room with modern bathroom and fabulously comfortable bed, but best of all was the welcome we received from Stephane. From the moment we arrived our bikes and bags were taken care of. We were offered a welcome drink in the garden to cool off and relax where Stephane gave us recommendations on how best to use our time and various restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was a treat of fresh fruit, breads, yoghurts, cake… all served beautifully by a host who really cares and is interested in his guests.

Everything was exceptional. Location was perfect. The rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable and the linen and pillows were luxurious. The bathroom was huge and the shower, towels,hair-dryer and even the toilet paper was top quality. Stephan the host was gracious, attentive, helpful and made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed our breakfast and time in the lounge area. We highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely return. We travelled for 6week and this was by far the best experience and accommodation of our holiday. Thank you Stephan for your attention to detail and your hospitality.

Nothing. We could not find one thing that we did not like.

Our host, Stephane was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Met us at the door and offered us a glass of wine. he gave us a map of Blois and explained where all the best restaurants were located. He also offered suggestions for visits. Breakfast here was lovely, as well as croissants and bread, there was fresh fruit, farm yogurt and delicious home made cake and jam. Our room was spacious and elegant and very clean. We would love to return here and will recommend it to our friends.

The location is superb for visiting Blois on foot. Stephane is an incredible host. Extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty with excellent coffee, fresh orange juice, freshly sliced fruit, yogurt, bread, croissants and pastry. Rooms are spacious, clean, bed comfortable and great shower. Nicely renovated building. Stephane gave us great advice for places to visit and we had a very memorable trip. we will definitely return to Demeure Des Cordeliers for our next trip to Blois.

Stephane was a fantastic host. He was very helpful with various aspects of our trip and gave us lots of recommendations on our itinerary. The premises were exceptionally clean and well maintained and in a a great location. We especially loved the home made baked goods and coffee provided at breakfast! Would definitely recommend staying here!

The building is in a great location and with secure, private parking. The host met us and offered a chilled glass of wine on our arrival, helped with a map and recommendations and even booked a restaurant from one of the recommendations and the food was delicious. The bedroom was huge with a comfortable bed, great bedding, pillows etc with large shuttered windows. A lovely space, as is the garden.

Would have liked a few more luxuries in the bathroom and a little background music over breakfast. It was very quiet and felt you had to whisper with your partner. All a bit too silent, but that’s only a personal opinion.

Stephane made us a delicious, sumptuous breakfast. With croissants you just can’t get in U.S. The town of Blois is worth staying in. There’s the chateau in town, as well as Chambord , 20 Km outside. We rented e-bikes to get to Chambord. Also, Stephane recommended 2 excellent restaurants nearby.

Shower floor was a little slippery.
