The room was very spacious and clean and comfortable it came equipped with a fridge and microwave and kettle. The bed was very comfortable. The hosts Veronique and Patrick worked very hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit and bike hire. Veronique made very lovely breakfasts and were different each morning.

We needed to drive about 10 minutes to reach restaurants for our evening meal but they were always very nice. Otherwise everything was really good.

Our accommodation was in the main old house up a staircase which was slightly difficult to negotiate until you go used to it. The room was very spacious with lovely views of the garden. Breakfast was continental style with additional enhancements and lots of home made produce. We didn't try it, but it was possible to request dinner which was prepared by the hosts and praised by those who tried it.

The wifi refused to allow some of our commonly used sites to load - strange! The shower head did not fit the holder and kept falling off. We intended to tell our hosts but forgot. Lighting was rather dim.

Hospitality and kindness from the hosts, large outdoor area and great location.

Value for money not the best - Little details could be improved for such price range (turn on the fridge before arrival, better suited fan, prepare the pool, etc.). You pay for the location.

Very nice stay with great hosts. Perfect location to explore The Valley of Loire and surrounding castles. Garden is a good place to relaxe. Swimming pool is well maintained and everything is clean. For French breakfast self made jam and local ingredients are served.

When we had to search for something, then the 2nd bed (sleeping couch) could be a little bit more comfortable.

Relaxed, friendly, family home. Lovely swimming pool and garden you’re free to enjoy. Very large bedroom even with a fridge and a kettle ! Breakfast in superb with home made jams, honeys, yogurts, fresh breads etc and the hosts are only too happy to accommodate any special requests.

When we booked, I wrongly assumed it was a hotel, but I’ve got to say it was more relaxing and pleasurable than even 5star I’ve stayed at recently. It would not be suitable for disabled/walking difficulties due to steep stairs to the rooms

Véronique and Patrick are exceptionally warm, welcoming, accommodating hosts. Wonderful breakfasts. Clean, spacious rooms in a charming house. The grounds and gardens of the walled property are beautiful. It felt like home!

There is nothing to criticize -- one cannot improve on perfection.

very peaceful location. lovely garden to come back to. an excellent location for cyclists. my husband used the pool which he enjoyed.
