It had a very nice atmosphere with the vines growing on the side but also a clean modern vibe. The food was very good, you could even boil your own eggs!

Not much, there was no air conditioning and I was pretty hot, so I think the rooms could benefit from AC installation.

The location was excellent, able to walk to restaurants, shops & Chateau.

No elevator made it difficult to get luggage up to the 3rd floor. Staff did help but still had to climb stairs everytime we left the room. Room was nice but small.

What a marvelous hotel!! Rooms are small (by U.S. standards) but very modern and beautifully outfitted. Bed very comfortable. Walking distance to Blois town center and the Chateau Blois. Petit dejourner was fabulous as well!

Nothing not to like

Hotel Ann is about as good as it gets for an independent and authentic hotel. Loved the room, bed, location and staff. The breakfast was exceptional, definitely designed to fuel a day of cycling. Anytime we stay in Blois it's the Hotel Ann for us.

Room great - clean, lovely view, everything we expected. Really very good indeed. Reception and staff - excellent, very friendly and helpful

But breakfast was disappointing - hot food was only lukewarm, coffee not great, not enough fruit or croissants on offer

Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful with excellent English. She was very cheerful. Location was excellent. Easy walk into town. Despite being close to the road it was very quiet. We had a good breakfast. Parking was easy.

Very nice hotel, walking distance to the city center and Chateau Blois. Nice staff and great breakfast! Located in a free parking square with additional paid parking on the avenue across the square. Spacious and comfortable room with a view!

Great location - great room with small balcony perfect for enjoying early morning or evening - good breakfast - helpful, friendly staff. Parking free on street outside when available (it was!)

Close to Train Station-2mins walk and easy to find. Friendly Reception lady, helpful. Sunny bright room, with fresh tiled bathroom, small but all there! Stored my bike-they are on the Loire Velo Route!

I didn't have breakfast, but lots people were. Would have liked a jug to make hot drinks.

This is a quirky family run hotel with bags of character. Lovely staff with a super sense of humour and high standards throughout. It's not great luxury, but it's not anonymous - and that's what we wanted. The breakfasts are great - very good for a French establishment with fruit, fruit salad, cheese, ham and eggs to boil all in addition to coffee, croissants, bread jam and juice. We loved the hotel and its staff who provided great info about eating out (it has a partner restaurant but none of its own) and tourism practicalities. It's brilliant located, 5 mins easy walk from the station and set back from the road so very quiet. It's 150 yards from the castle at Blois so great for tourism in this delightful town. Totally satisfied with our choice. Also the sanitation was modern and very well maintained with new shower, washbasins and toilet and plentiful hot water.
