Location and welcome was brilliant.

We had booked dinner and checked the website for the menu. When we sat down for dinner we were informed that on Saturday the only choice was from 3 different priced tasting menus and the whole party had to eat the same tasting menu. As a member of our party cannot eat any kind of onions and another did not want a big meal this was a problem for us. We did not stay for dinner. The hotel staff were very pleasant about it. Fortunately there was another restaurant within walking distance.

Was surprised to find such a nice hotel in that small village, Few rooms but mine was nicely set, well renovated with a huge bathroom, clean and confortable, quiet even with windows on the road. The great plus is that you are above the 1 star Michelin restaurant so you are sure to spend a great evening. Also near to Chambord, so great location for the Loire valley chateaux. Great value considering the reasonable price of the room.

Everything was perfect

Large modern rooms, very comfortable and view of the church across the road. Amazing dinner. Excellent breakfast for 12 Euros! Should offer half board or dinner. The main reason we stayed was to have dinner there! The best meal we had in France despite comparing to 4-5 other Michelin star-rated places! We even came back to pick up something we forgot and stayed for lunch too. All the staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. Great location for visiting Chambord. Would recommend it to family and friends!

Would have received 10/10 except the stairs to the rooms could be dangerous for the elderly or someone with physical impairment. Maybe tough if you have large luggage. The bathroom can be cleaner as water stains on the tile are visible. The very modern bathroom fixtures could be easier to use. Overall an excellent place to stay!
